who has been using propecia/rogaine? how has it worked for you.

- can you tell me how it has worked for you guys.

- please tell me how long the shedding lasted for and how long did it take to get results.

- did it work on the front or crown?

Yes

 

Propecia worked well for me in stopping hairloss and with a bit of regrowth everywhere.

It takes about 6 months to a year before cosmetic results. Shedding can last a couple weeks

 

As far as Rogaine, never used it

I've been on propecia for just over 6 years; it has maintained, with a bit of regwowth in the vertex/crown area the first year.

hi there i have been on proscar/propecia for 2-3 years.it has halted my hairloss but no regrowth.

as for rogaine i used minoxidil liquid for 4 months with a little regrowth bt it irritated my scalp so much i had to stop using it,

i also used rogaine foam for the last 6 months with no scalp irritation but unfortunately no regrowth either

Guys, Can you get periodic shedding with propecia?

 

I have been on it for 1 year and it has stabilised my hair loss. However, the past 2 mths i seem to have slipped back slightly and im wondering if it is some shedding at the 12 mth mark.

yeah some people do have periodic shedding,it is nothing to worry about they come back,

it happens to myself but only mildly
