Senior Member finnari Posted April 24, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2007 I have a fair amount of hair but am having some hairline work done. How many days after the procedure can you go out in public without it looking like someone attacked you with a machette? When can you style your hair? thanks

Senior Member hairbank Posted April 24, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2007 If it's just hairline work, nothing further back, just make sure you grow the hair out a little so you can style it in a way to cover the work. Uncovered, you'll need at least 2 weeks before it's not noticable............sometimes longer depending on how the individual heals. Bill - Seemiller
finnari, Welcome to the forums. I'd say 2 weeks is accurate assuming that you can cover the grafts with your native hair by combing it forward. Just a forewarning...do NOT let the comb touch the grafts for the first 2 weeks.
