Bill - Seemiller
rjvw, Things are looking good at 8 months. Can you remind us of your surgical details. Who was your doctor? Number of grafts/hairs etc? Thanks! Bill

Senior Member rjvw Posted September 17, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 17, 2007 Gorpy- You've gotta be happy with your results also. Looks GREAT. Bill- 2100 grafts by Dr. Epstein. He did a great job. Mrjb- I agree. I've got a ways to go. It's like it comes in spurts. Keep in mind that I've stopped using Propecia which did thicken my hair. It just wasn't worth the bad side effects I was experiencing.
Senior Member Neptune Posted September 21, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 21, 2007 Looks great RJVW! Hopefully whatever you lost by stopping propecia was made worth it in other ways (so to speak)! Keep up the good growth. I'm got some six month pics to show as soon as I can get them on the site. Senior Member rjvw Posted September 30, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2007 I've added an up close view of my hairline. Big difference from photo #1 taken pre Ht and photo #6 taken yesterday. It really shows the great work done by Dr. Epstein.
Senior Member Gorpy Posted September 30, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 30, 2007 Very nice rjvw! It's filling in nicely. Very natural looking too. Dr. Epstein did a nice job with a relatively small number of grafts. ____________ 2700 Total Grafts w/ Keene 9/28/05 663 one's = 663 1116 two's = 2232 721 three's = 2163 200 four's = 800 Hair Count = 5858 1000 Total Grafts w/Keene 2/08/07 Mostly combined FU's for 2600+ hairs My Photo Album See me at Dr. Keene's Gallery
Senior Member rjvw Posted October 12, 2007 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 12, 2007 I've added an outdoor photo. Looks thinner than when I'm inside but still looks very natural. In this photo my hair isn't really combed but rather just pushed back. Remember that I only had 2100 grafts. I could really thicken it up with about a 1000 more. Maybe down the road. What do you think?

Senior Member NervousNelly Posted October 12, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 12, 2007 Really looks great for 2100 grafts. You definitely look great and will continue to look a little better as things get more dense. I believe that you are only 1200-1500 grafts away from a Gorpy.
