Dr. Timothy Carman
Assuming you had grafts placed into your crown...Congratulations!! That is the beginning of the "sprouting process". This will go on for the next 3-6 months in a cycle kind of like microwaving popcorn (stay with me here....) -You know, when you pop popcorn it starts off slow, builds to a frenzy, then decreases as fast as it suddenly increased. Does that make sense? By placing a warm moist compress over the area you can help those "bumps" mature/drain more quickly. Welcome to the "this is what I've been waiting for" stage in your procedure.
