I sent in $1,000 to book the surgery and then settled up the $6,775 on surgery day (about 4 months later). He was able to harvest an extra 200 grafts at no cost. This was my PERSONAL experience, and I don't know if he uses a sliding scale or anything. 1 thing I think is VERY important...you are paying for a result, not for a specific number of grafts. Go see Dr. Konior, tell him what you're trying to achieve and have a very detailed discussion about whether or not he can get you there. I'm 3 days post-op and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. K and his entire staff. Remember...for surgery on your head or face, you do NOT want the lowest bidder doing the work.
