Regular Member Billydett Posted November 1, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted November 1, 2005 I'm now at 3 months post op. I think theres new hair coming although very tiny? Not too sure though. In comparison to how I was pre op I believe I'm still very similar to it. I want to know hoe far along people were at 3 months post op and their experiences? Regular Member Nashville Kat Posted November 2, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted November 2, 2005 Billydett, You really won't notice much difference at three months but it will start coming on stronger in months 4 thru 8. By then you should notice a big difference depending on how much hair you had moved. Good luck and patience is a virtue!! Nashville Kat
Senior Member HairBeThere Posted November 2, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted November 2, 2005 yes.. At 3 months.. that's when things just start to happen. Then the coming months are the best. All hell breaks loss!!
Senior Member Robert_ Posted November 7, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted November 7, 2005 I agree with Nashville and HBT. You are on the verge of seeing the bulk of your growth. Kick back and enjoy the fun. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
Regular Member Billydett Posted November 10, 2005 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 10, 2005 hey guys, I have just a mini update.. I have a haircut, with a #3 on the side, and had it cut very short on the top. Now it's cut short. I believe its the shortest I've had it cut since I can remember. And, once I had the haircut my friend and family members said it does look different, or better. Now, Im not sure if thats the case or not, but of course I am hoping it is. I wouldnt wanna jinx myself lol But as the months go by I will know.
Bill - Seemiller
Billy, I'm right there with you man. I am a little over 3 months and just cut my hair, 2 clip on the sides, and 4 clip on top. I've been told my hair looks better that way. I'd say I've only experienced a little growth so far...but hopefully at 3 month and 12 days, I'm only in the beginning phases. I'm sure you are too! Bill - Seemiller
I am reminded of hairbank here....ah how I miss the man!!!! I suppose it is only right that I take over his duties of the old thread revival police . Peachfuz, Just so you know, you might want to keep note of the date above each post as this post is almost 2 years old. But as Mrjb rightfully pointed out... Very few people start experiencing growth as early as 3 months. Most report new growth starting between month 3 and 5. Stay patient bro. Guest wanthairs
Hey ..... For what its worth, Jeff Epstein told me his patients typically get growth starting at the 10 week point, slightly earlier than many others because he insists that his patients use 5% minox twice a day on the recipient wrea. I had growth starting at the 7.5 week point, and it is gaining rapidly from being a shiny smooth NWD 6, now Im a bristly NWD 6 so I have quite a way to go...... Bill - Seemiller
Peachfuz, Patience brother patience! Some patients are blessed with early growth...some aren't. We all grow at different rates. Who was your doctor? I encourage you to start your own thread and share your experience (if you haven't done so already) and post some before and immediately post op pictures (if you have them). Chart your progress every month by taking new pictures and posting them. You can do this by going to "New" and then "Photo Album". I recommend creating the thread under the photo section. I encourage you also to consider creating a hair loss weblog Bill
