My pics and experience with Dr. Woods

Hey Hape, let me let you in on a little info.

In your case, FUE was indeed the best route, you needed very few grafts all in your temporal region and single hair grafts were best suited for your particular situation.

Furthermore, you picked the best Dr to perform this surgery as he is the only one using small punches to obtain single hair FUE's and he has been doing it longer than anyone else. Of course, providing cost is not an issue, Woods was the best choice FOR YOU AND YOUR SITUATION.

What no one chooses to address or perhaps even realized is that the reason your sites look so small and are so small is that Woods ONLY removed single hair FUEs, no 2 and 3 hair groupings so he was able to use a .5 or .6mm punch to do so.

It is unfair, unethical and deceptive to compare your sites to other sites because no one that I have ever seen or heard from has had ALL single hair FUE's extracted with no 2 and 3 hair groupings.

As such, his sites are smaller, in fact half as small, as any other donor sites shown because he was able to reduce the size of the tool for your situation. This is also the reason why he had to more densly pack your temples to achieve a natural hairline.

You will look great, your hair will be perfect, your donor area will heal perfectly but, any Dr using a small punch (.75 or smaller) doing such a small area of transplanting could have done as good a job for 1/3rd the cost.

In regards to calling strip surgery shit, have you ever had one?

I can tell you one thing, when the rest of your hair starts going, your gonna think long and hard about using single hair FUE's for density because you will look as bad as the other Woods patients as far as looking thin and transparent. You will need larger grouped FU's to achieve aceptable density and no .5 punch is gonna get them out either. Then your donor holes will look bigger, you will heal more slowly and things wont be as rosy. Furthermore, 1200 grafts wont do much for you when your temples are densly packed and the rest of your head starts diffuse thinning so you will be foreced to pack the entire front of your head as densly as your temples were to look normal.

So start saving now because Woods will charge you upwards of 50k to get what you're gonna need to fill in your head and the sites will be bigger so get ready for a moth eaten shotgun blast of empty, void scalp in the donor area because 3500 more is gonna do just that, deplete your donor area and cause it to look thinned out and unnatural. Ever wonder why Woods has less than 3 patients that have ever had more than 3500 grafts done? It's not because they ran out of money or they were just so happy they didn't need more hair, its because there is a limit to how many extractions you can make to a donor area before it is premanently damaged.

Then your gonna wish you had your $70,000$ back and your gonna regret you didn't have a strip done in the first place, because you felt it was shit 4 or 5 years ago.
