Regular Member Follicle Challenge Posted February 16, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted February 16, 2007 For the last few weeks I've posted a number of requests for help, in regards to accessing generic Propecia online. The majority of sites I was referred to were far from informative. A close family friend who's occupation has been in dermatology for the past 30 years, highly recommended me to this site My hair loss solved .com. What a great source of info, I could instantly relate to the opening story (experience). It was refreshing to access a site that is obviously well informed and sensitive to what can be a traumatic experience. I have since received my generic Propecia and was extremely happy with the prompt customer service. I thought I would share my positive experience with you guys, as my previous online experiences haven't been so positive. Keep up the good work Myhairlosssolved.com Thanks Follicle Challenge

Senior Member hairbank Posted February 16, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 16, 2007 That's the first I've seen generic propecia available. Any idea where the meds are coming from? It can't be the US or Canada with no prescription? Tried to find out on the site but couldn't come up with anything. Anyone else heard of this? Senior Member NervousNelly Posted February 16, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 16, 2007 I shouldn't make a statement of something I have no proof on, but ordering on-line without a prescription concerns me. I am aware of phony meds being shipped on-line and sometimes even though they may look 100% legit, are they? A buddy got propecia on-line without prescription (actually they give you online script after you answered some generic questions). Apparently a "doctor" reads your questionare and they then they charge you $75 for exam and send the meds. His propecia came in a regular medicine type bottle and not even in manufacturers box. I was certainly a little skeptical of what he was getting. The pills did look like the typical propecia but I rather doubt thats what they truly were. Beware of on-line stuff gentleman. Senior Member HK500 Posted February 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2007 I posted on this a few days ago. Generic Propecia is not available in US pharmacies, it could be in other countries but I would not risk it especially now that I take the always reliable generic Proscar and it's so cheap. Bill - Seemiller
Follicular Challenge, As others said, and I'll continue to be the bearer of bad news...but you have to be VERY careful when ordering prescription medicine online like that. Since generic Propecia is not available in the US, you are obviously getting it from overseas. Unfortunately, there are a number of sites that sell generic medicines that are less than reputable and you simply don't know what you are buying. For all you know, you could be taking sugar pills. I confess that I don't know this for certain...but I've heard about this happening and it's bad news. Consider getting on generic Proscar instead with a prescription that is a sure thing. Take 1/4 pill per day since it's 5mg of finasteride. Bill
Senior Member YoungGuy Posted February 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted February 19, 2007 I second that. People have died from online meds that were not made properly, had the wrong active ingredients or too much of the correct ones. A lot of these "online drugs" are made in basements and barns. Some of the lucky folks got drugs with no active ingredients at all; lucky, because at least they didn't get hurt. Try proscar instead. It's much safer.
