Epstein Is Excellent!

In my quest for better hair, I have had numerous transplant procedures done throughout the years to improve my diffuse thinning. Even though my local hair transplant surgeon had all the proper board certifications, the results never measured up to our discussed expectations. Feeling frustrated and fearing my rapidly diminishing supply of donor hair, I decided it was time to execute a world-wide search to find the best qualified, most respected hair transplant surgeon currently available to help me achieve my goal of growing a fuller, thicker head of hair.

I spent many months researching the acclaimed hair loss websites and forums. In doing so, I discovered a select listing of doctors frequently mentioned as being the most reputable, respected, and skilled hair transplant surgeons practicing anywhere in the world today. But among that esteemed grouping, one doctor's name always seemed to be at the forefront of recommendation. That doctor is Miami's Dr. Jeffrey S. Epstein of Foundation for Hair Restoration.

Dr. Epstein's credentials are impeccable. My further research revealed a hair transplant surgeon whose education, training, certifications, publishings, and vanguard leadership in contemporary hair restoration make him a very venerated hair transplant surgeon always in high demand among patients, peers, and media.

I have just finished my second summer procedure with Dr. Jeff. In just two sessions of almost 1,300 FUGs, I have experienced better coverage, density, and reduced donor-site scarring than in all my other procedures combined. Be assured, Dr. Epstein is the best hair restoration surgeon you can choose and decidedly deserves his vaunted reputation. From initial consultation to final good-bye, you will receive nothing less than stellar treatment and considerations from Dr. Jeff and his staff. Everyone at Foundation for Hair Restoration is professional, friendly, and attentive to your every need and concern. They are simply awesome. In my opinion, the only wrong choice you could make with Dr. Epstein is not choosing him to do your hair restoration.

Location may be everything in most business endeavors, but when the personal business at hand is taking advantage of the best opportunity to improve the look of your hair, pack the suitcase and make the travel plans. Unless you live in Miami, choosing a local hair transplant surgeon may prove more convenient, but the quality of the procedural outcome may also prove less successful and personally satisfying. You can't do better than the best. That's why I chose Dr. Epstein for my hair restoration. And if you're unwilling to settle for anything less than the best, you should too.

Have you experienced any growth yet. Dr. Epstein said that we should get growth starting at about 10 weeks.....Im anxious, only 6 weeks post op.............

And RDFLD....your psot sounds so overinflated it sounds like your doing an ad for the clinic. Not that I have anything bad to say about them at all.......Who did your first transplants and tell us more details......

Wanthairs,

Dr. Epstein is a great Doctor, you are only six weeks out and you should see some growth after week ten. I don't know if the post listed above is over inflated or not, I only know that Dr. Epstein is a well known physician with a proven record. Good luck and happy growth.

SinTPA: There are a number of us on the Photo Albums forum who are patients of Dr. Epstein and who have posted our pics. I had mine done in March, so I'm just now seeing signs of growth. Nothing much yet, though. rjvw is a couple months ahead of me and is seeing growth. There are others you might check out as well.

I had my procedure with Epstein April 26 and am waiting for the growth. I'll need another procedure because he just addresses my temple area and front of head. I need more coverage on the crown. I had 1500fus and thought that would be enough.I think he's really good and my Derm checked me out and said "good job"

Hi wanthairs,

I'm 9 weeks out from my HT w/ Dr. Epstein and I'm definitely seeing some growth. I've noticed that the one hair grafts in the front seem to be coming out quicker than the 2-3 hair grafts.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

I actually went back to work 5 days after the HT and managed to cover up some of the evidence with the Topik that Dr. Epstein provided. I honestly think that no one really noticed.

Hey Gents.......

I have still retained about 15% of the transplanted hairs and they are growing normally. Did any of you notice the same thing? Also how long would you wait before you get the next transplant? Epstein says he can do it in as little as 5 months but so many other doctors say to wait 8 months to a year....Any thoughts?

It is fairly common for a small percentage of the transplanted hairs to grow from the start and never shed. I had some do that also. You could still experience some post op shedding though.

I would trust what Dr. Epstein says. If you are not going into the same area, you can do a follow-up transplant fairly quickly.

To some, my effusive praise of Dr. Epstein may seem inflated and excessive. However, Dr. Epstein provided me with hope, improved possibilities, and more importantly, positive results, at a time when despair, false promises, and terrible outcomes were all I had known and experienced from my (6) prior HTs with a local, well-credentialed, highly-regarded, board-certified facial plastic surgeon in my area. Unfortunately, HTs were not a specialty of his practice, and having had some other very successful work done by this surgeon in other areas, I just assumed the same great results from my HTs with him. Undoubtedly, in hindsight, and with the wisdom of my current knowledge and experience with Dr. Epstein, I forever realize the naive error of my ways and the grave mistake I made in having HTs done with a surgeon who had so few representative pictures and patients available to affirm his expertise in this area. So, in my stupidity, I continued my HTs with this surgeon for (6) straight summers. And year-by-year the donor area grew more scarred and barren of native hair. What's more, I really wasn't that satisfied with the overall results of these many HTs either. My hair loss problem has always been one of diffuse thinning instead of actual balding, but the lack of evident density after so many procedures was truly disheartening. And by now, I had grown extremely self-conscious of a donor area that looked far worse than I ever anticipated. So, it was with great anxiety, fear, and desperation that I finally awoke to the need of finding a HT surgeon who could make better use of my fast-depleting donor hair and would be able to perform some kind of miracle that would somehow return my extensively scarred donor area back to a reasonable state of normalcy. I didn't care how far I had to travel to find my savior. Enter Miami's Dr. Jeffrey Epstein. After many months of research, reading, chats, discussions, and consultations, I decided he alone was best qualified to achieve what I desired to accomplish. And this time I chose a winner. After (3) procedures and approximately 2,000+ grafts with Dr. Jeff, the reparative work on my original donor site scarring has vastly improved the appearance of this area, and the level of density Dr. Epstein has currently achieved in improving my diffuse thinning has been a major upgrade. And in the months ahead, I shall eagerly await the further anticipated results of the third procedure I had with Dr. Epstein this past May 29th. After so many wasted procedures, I realize I am undoubtedly approaching the limits of improvement with what remains of my donor supply. However, in Dr. Epstein's hands, I remain very confident as to what can still be accomplished with the skill and expertise of his most capable medical artistry.
