Senior Member mrkneed Posted October 16, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 16, 2007 Assuming one does not have much success with rogaine alone, wouldnt it make sense that if one goes on propecia and has been on for a while, that it is more likely to that the rogaine will start to work - since there will be improved blood flow to the follicules and much less dht the rogaine would be dealing with?? Senior Member hoose Posted October 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 17, 2007 There is a synergy between the two; However, IMO propecia is the foundation, ie. the bottom of the pyramid. Rogaine can be added to maybe get some additional benefits. In other words, without Propecia, Rogaine will not provide long term beneifts. If you are using propecia, adding rogaine may provide additional growth/maintenance.
