Senior Member mrkneed Posted October 18, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2007 At what month is it expected that all the hairs from the transplant have broken thru the skin? Secondly say somebody is at 6 months and all the hairs have broken thru what can one expect other than growth till the 12 month mark? Senior Member nobuzz4me Posted October 18, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 18, 2007 mrkneed, I think most of the result of your Ht will be started and clearly visible growth by 8 months. Between 8-12 months you may some new growth but the hair that has come in will thicken up and look better. NoBuzz
Bill - Seemiller
mrkneed, I agree with Nobuzz. I think the majority of the transplanted hairs will have at least surfaced by 8 months or so - however, some believe that new hairs may still surface up to 18 months. 12 months however, is typically said to be the maturity date, but there is still softening and thickening of the transplanted hair that extends beyond that. Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member MrJobi Posted October 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2007 I agree somewhat with the above guys. By 8 months you will have the majority of growth however, you may have a significant impact regarding overall appearance from 8-14 months.
