  1. I would start using it. If you don't at least try it, you will definitely lose your hair.
  2. I would continue using the product, because it can take up a several months to over year before the shedding stops. i have noticed increase shedding and recession on my left temple and I have been on propecia for 11months and the foam for 3 weeks. I have received advise that it does come back, but it takes awhile.
  3. I too get the stuff in my hair, but as long as you get it on your scalp I think you will be okay. I rub it on my scalp lightly, but reluctant to massage because I think it could be bad for the hair. Not sure, but that is my opinion. I also heard that putting pressure or pressing on your scalp would help absorb the treatment. Maybe even inversion postures while you put it on will help. The foam is designed to increase blood flow correct? Than why not have excess blood circulating through your head while applying the treatment? Anyone else have opinion on that?
  4. I have been on it for 10 months and have noticed some shedding on the top. Now the hairline is receding. I started using the foam a couple of days ago and noticed more shedding. I am going to stick with it and hopefully turn it around. Everything I have read says to stick with the program and results will follow in time. We can only hope for the best.
  5. Justgrow, Thank you for your response. How long did it take you before it started coming back? I just started the foam and I am worried about additional shedding. I have fine hair and shedding is very noticeable.
  6. So the question is, how long does the temporary loss last? I too have functions coming up in the next couple of months and do not want signs of loss. I am hesitant to start the application, because of temporary shed. I am on fin now, so if I wait a couple of months is it going to hurt my results? Thank you.
  7. I would be interested to find out too, because I recently just purchased the foam.
  8. I am shedding/receding on my left temple only. Everywhere else is fine....that is why I am confused. I started taking it when I noticed a small recession on my left temple. My hair is really fine to begin with, so any shedding is going to be very noticeable. I'm hoping it works and that I'm just paranoid. I have deep hairlines to begin with and have looked like I was going bald in high school, but stayed the same for 10 years. Now I'm 28 and noticing some thinning/recession on the left side. If you are not on Propecia, than what do you use to battle MPB?
  9. Even with the receding/shedding temple, have you heard of positive results after a year? I have very fine hair anyway, so a small shed can seem very large. I am worried that I have been on it for almost a year now with no positive results on the left side. I am praying that it is just a shedding phase. I appreciate your response!!!
  10. Has anyone experienced a worsening hair line with propecia? My left temple seems to be thinning and receding badly after 10months on propecia. I already have fine hair, but I'm getting a little worried that my MPB is irreversible. Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated. This is my first time on your forum. Also, I recently purchased the foam to try it out, but worried about the shedding. Thank you!!!
  11. I am a norwood 2 as well and been on fin for about 9-10months. I have noticed a shed the first 5months and now my temple on my left side is very thin. The right side is perfect, but my left is getting worse. I'm hoping this is a good sign. I'm going to start using the foam soon to see if anything happens. I'm reluctant though, because I heard it increases shedding.
