HI guys Does the Spiro stuff really work? How and when do you apply it? Are you on Finasteride as well? I don't use any topicals, bust good ole Finasteride but am thinking o should be using a topical in combination. any input is welcome Thbans

there is no question that is a red headed hair transplant. For god's sake, i can see it w/o my glasses. It is an awful result. Hopefully most of you out there would consider this to be an unacceptable HT.

GUYS, Don't get me wrong. I think the second pic looks great !!! But if you look closely at the first pic (shorter cut) there is a hell of a lot of hair there too. It has been my experience that while a short hair cut is usually better for giving a thining head a fuller look, there is a point of diminishing return and it is probably different for everyone. In other words the phrase "shorter is better" is only true to a certain extent. As for the effectiveness of proscar/propecia, I give the stuff rave reviews. My crop has thinkened dramatically over the 20 mos. I've been a "user" and a couple of my buddys have had similiar results. Good stuff!

It looks good but you sure cannot tell what the proscar did or didn't do. The length of the hair is different in the pics and therefore the coverage of scalp is different. I wonder at times if some of you people just see what you want to see. The emperor's new cloths. Objectivity and honesty are the things that give this site value.

Docs or anyone else, I am going in Thues. 4/6 for an HT. The nurse says i am not supposed to drink alcohol for a week prior to the procedure. Not that i can't go without, but i graduate law school on Friday, 4/2 and would love to "get a bit gased up" that night. DOES Anybody know if that week on the wagon thing really makes a difference. I would still have 4/3, 4/4 and 4/5 to get the booze out of me.

27young, In all honesty i would discourage an HT for you. The fact of the matter is that propecia works really well to hold on to what you have and what you have looks good now. You will look great when you are in your mid 30's. There will be new drug treatments and other less invasive medical procedures in the not to distant future. Not to mention tons of girls like the receeding look.

Dryness is not from the propecia. It is just bad hair. During hair loss, when your hair starts to miniturize it gets whispy and appears to be dry. Mine used to be like that and the propecia actually helped reverse it.
