Hi All Right i went to the consultation and Dr True and his advisors are very nice, its all clear, i was really nervy at the start but they put me at ease. He reccomended me to go on propecia for 6-12 months and see how i respond, he then said to come back and i would need about 1500 graphs done. I forgot to ask him a few questions tho. How long does the hair actually grow in length? Where is the best and cheapest place to get Fisteride/propecia? i live in the UK Thanks

im only getting a first consultation, i am 22 but i think i need surgery very soon. But i think he will say to wait.

Hi, i am 22 and loosing my hair, i have been reading these forums for a few months which is very helpful. I understand that the best thing to do first up is get on Propecia. I have also heard about the side effects of using this. The one i am most worried about is the loss of libido. In the past i have had problems with loss of confidence with sex and if i go on these drugs i don't want it to ruin my sex life. I want to go to New York and get HT done but i don't know what i would need to do first. I was thinking of booking a consultation to see one of the Dr and getting his advice. What would people on here suggest?

If you have got a shaved head, why not go to the gym, bulk yourself up (if u arent already) and go on the sunbed and get a suntan, you will then feel better about yourself and look better. I know what ur going through, i am 21 and loosing my hair so i am even younger. i think i am just going to wait a bit then get HT. Dunno what else to do. Good luck

I was just thinking, why bother spending loads of money on the likes of Propecia etc when your hair will never be how you want it. I am thinking of HT but also other treatments that i could have, But i think i will just wait a year or so till i loose more hair and then just get HT. What do u think?

i dunno, thought new york would be a good place to go anyway regardless of the HT. I am still doing research into all this so i am not sure what treatment is best.
