  1. All the best Facelessman, Please let us now how its all gone.
  2. Just because particular Dr's arn't in the coalition doesn't mean they aren't worth seeing. I'm seeing Dr Feller for my surgery and he's regarded as one of the best guys, yet he is not in the coalition.
  3. cardio, cardio and then some more cardio
  4. I am scheduled for surgery with Dr Feller in July and also have a concern surrounding my donor region. I have discussed this at great depth with him personally over the phone and he has reassured me that come the day of the surgery if he feels that he can not make my situation better via means of surgery, he will not perform on me. It is impossible to establish an exact no. of grafts until he sees me. Dr Feller in all my research is definately one of the few good guys and going off the comments made here i think its impossible to accurately diagnose if spurmans is a suitable HT candidtae or not. The best guy for that job is the HT Dr in person.
  5. I agree with PB, the hairline postion will be advised by Dr Feller appropriately and his experience is something you need to trust as he is a top notch doc. From all my research DR Feller has come across as being a very amenable man whos only interest is providing you with the result you want within your personal limitions. ie donor supply, further loss etc. I would trust him on this one!
  6. I look forward to seeing the 1 year pictures Dr Feller. Thank you for posting!
  7. Tremendous growth PB for only 5 months!!! Well done. Continue to grow well!!!
  8. If you are in the UK i would highly recommend meeting with spex who offers himself as a showcase. www.hair-help.co.uk He helped me a great deal and will tell you how it is straight up. I would advise not having surgery in the uk period. The U.S and Canada is the place to have any work carried out. Here is another link about peoples opinions link
  9. You need to research and find a Dr thats suits you and your needs. You must feel confident that they have an understanding of your needs and goal. Geography should never be an issue when looking into a hair transplant and neither should cost. The best place to get surgery of this type done is the U.S or Canada. Research the top guys.. no order. Feller, H+W, Wolf, Epstein, Rose, Shapiro amongst others
  10. You need to do more research imo link to uk topic
  11. Pat The best guy to speak to is spex as he sees many guys who are looking into repairing previous work thats been performed in the UK. When i met him he showed my some pictures of people he had met. The pictures were of donor regions and some pictures were of Farjo patients amongst other uk clinics. I am glad you are happy with you result.. thats the main thing!!
  12. In the U.K we are very limited to information regarding hair transplantation nevermind capable dr's. There are a high number of U.K clinics that offer the service and claim it to be state of the art but in actual fact they are just a bunch of con men who have nothing other in mind than your money!! There is one guy Rogers who is o.k but in the shadow of the world leaders like Feller, H+W etc. It is a fact that if you are in the U.K and are intending to have work caried out then you need to travel over the Atlantic. You can not make georgraphy an issue because if you do you will have much bigger issues to deal with if you do. I have been researching HT's for a long time now and have consulted with u.k clinics and quickly learnt they they are a bunch of unethical salesmen with absolutely NO idea about HT'S. This lead me to research further and consult with many Dr's overseas (via email)including H+W, Feller, Wolf, and Armani aswell a s a few others. All of these had a similar appraisal of my situation within reason and I was fortunate to meet with Spex over here in the U.K who showcases his HT and helps many guys out. (http://www.hair-help.co.uk) I have since decided to see Dr Feller after speaking with him personally at great length for my HT in the summer. The U.K is very uneducated in the art of hair transplantation. You need to travel!
  13. Exactly the same drug, Finesteride. Proscar is 5mg Propecia 1mg Cut the Proscar into quarters or if you can fifths 1/4 - 1.25mg 1/5 - 1mg Many guys do it, including me! Good luck
  14. i'm also glad to hear you are happy with your results. Sounds like you are one of the lucky few to come out of there On all accounts there are many guys who have been left with unsatisfied results from there.
  15. You should consult with Feller in NY. He performs postage stamp sessions and large 1000+ sessions. look on spex site at the gallery of different patients www.hair-help.co.uk I am going with Feller for strip
  16. Have you consulted with Feller he is also in NY and is very well respected. I intend to see him in the near future. True is a good surgeon along with H+W! I met with spex who provides himself as a showcase for Feller in the U.K. Its worth meeting him if you can IMO even just to see what a HT looks like in person. Very good!
  17. You should meet with spex, he offers himself as a showcase and is one of the good guys. I recently met him and he was very helpful! spex web site
  18. I met with spex recently after viewing his site www.hair-help.co.uk. My research into hair transplants has been extensive and i was interested in meeting with spex to ask his opinion and also have a look at his famous barnet. ;-) I must say the guy is very passionate and knowledgeable about hair and hair transplants. He showed me in great detail his journey and explained why he ended up going with Dr Feller. He at no point tried to talk me into a hair transplant. Which is kind of what i was expecting after looking into transplants so far. Clinics have tried to talk me into it > especially ones in the U.K when i initially looked into hair transplants. I soon realised that to have ht's performed correctly its essential that you must travel over the Atlantic. Spex gave me his opinion and that was it and was kind enough to take a few photos for Dr Feller to have a look at to obtain his opinion also. Spex hair is actually unbelievable to be honest. I found it difficult to actually pick any fault with it. His hairline is very natural and positioned perfectly to suit his face and age and will continue to do so IMO. He is very fortunate as he has great hair characteristics which he explained have enabled him to achieve such an undetectable and thick result. People forget that he is a repair patient and his energy towards helping others is driven by this fact. The U.K is in the dark ages when it comes to ht's and after speaking with spex about the high number of repair patients he meets in the U.K it is obvious why he would not want anyone to fall into their hands. I want to thank spex for his time and energy towards helping me and many others. Thanks! Martin
