  1. Hold up just a minute here...you think that you have it bad...iam 19 and iam going bald...ur 62 and ur going bald...iam at the prime of my life and iam not complaining...ive accepted the fact that yes iam going to go bald but ive done my research and have found ways to combat it...do not sit here and expect anyone to feel sorry for you because quite frankly, there are millions of ppl with hair loss and if conventional methods fail..its up to you to try something else. Wigs these days look very natural and are for the most part undetectable..so if u cant treat ur hair loss, HIDE IT AND GET ON WITH UR LIFE...nobody cares...its just hair..dead protein.
  2. the fact that ur a transexual is not very reassuring when it comes to the side effects of the product
  3. honey u dont want to be taking minoxidil ur whole life...it could lead to some side effects....my advice goto www.toplace.com and check them out...they sell hair systems that look natural and are undetectable...u are never going to get all your thick hair back with minoxidil orr with an ht...so stop whining about it and look for other options in the hair system industry.
  4. hairbank, come on man do you even have to ask if my hair is thinning...why else would i be on this forum....newayz the technique i described will only work if you do not have a bald patch...you must have at least some diffuse hair. I will be posting picks soon and will write down exactly how to apply the dermmatch to avoid the "shine" you are talking about.
  5. hairbank is 100% wrong....i shaved my head..let it grow in for about 2 weeks and then applied dermatch...it works beautiful and is 10 times easier to apply that way...u can even blend in a higher hairline if you have some skilled hands...keeping ur hair short and applying concealers looks much more realistic...
  6. Has anyone heard anything about finasteride causing acne? I heard some rumors about this...it could be true because acne is hormonal and propecia messess up with hormones.
  7. Yo Jagdish Are you currently using finax and if so, have u seen results yet or any side effects...where can you go to order finax...also i want to get some more background about this Dr.Reddy..what makes his product so credible?
  8. You guys are right...it is just too risky buying finasteride from a foriegn company like cipla...i would much rather pay the extra money here and know exactly what iam getting!
  9. Are there any concealers you know of that can be used on a shaved head with a fairly good amount of stubble hairs? Could dermmatch be used or would that leak onto the scalp?
  10. No one can argue with the fact that these days hair systems look very natural and pretty much undectable to the average person. The only people may might take a second look are hair system wearers themselves, which doesnt really matter...But i agree with Mt. Baldy in that if they could find a way to surgically or asethically affix the piece onto the scalp, a hair system would be better than an ht in my opinion. I mean come on i see guys on this forum that have gotten ht's and they are still using all these medications and concealers and what not.,.what the hell is the point of getting a ht if you still have to do all that stuff! I am optimistic that in a few years, the hair system affixing issue will be solved and sales will take off.
  11. Mt. Baldy Its no so much that I am promoting hair systems...its just that if someone is going to get one...at least get one from a company that sells them inexpensively...check out the new INJECTABLE LACE SYSTEMS...THE HAIR LOOKS LIKE ITS LITERALLY GROWING FROM YOUR SCALP...AMAZING
  12. Finpecia and Fincar, for those of of you who are not familiar with them, are inexpensive alternatives for propecia and proscar, respectively. They are made in India where the patent laws in American are not applicable. You can buy a year's supply of them for the price of a 2 month's supply here in the U.S. My question is has anyone tried these alternatives or know anyone who has tried them? There is a big debate on them.
  13. I am only 19 and thinning...After going through this forum I have realized that the earlier you start the better...I would like to start taking propecia but cannot afford it...My question is that is Proscar the same thing as propecia just in a higher mg dose. Can I buy proscar and just divide the 5mg in quarters and get the same effect? Anyone tried this yet. I can get a full years supply of proscar for only $85.

  15. Today was my first application of dermmatch..i dont know whether it is because it is the first application but it didnt go too well...It left my hair feeling hard and unmanageable...has anyone had this experience...how many times are you supposed to use the applicator, also hairline problem.
