  1. Good words from Bill. Thanks, Proactive
  2. After feeling some side effects I have dropped the dosage to .5g every 2 days. Would it be better to go .25g each day instead, any thoughts? Thanks, Proactive
  3. How long were you on Propecia when you first noticed the side effects and how long until they subsided? Thanks, Proactive
  4. In this article it claims side effects were recorded in 6-19% of users, that's quite a difference from the 2% stated by Merck! It also states that DHT plays an important role within the body, interesting reading. Proactive
  5. I've read a few posts where people prefer not to use Rogaine as it only brings back a 'fuzz' and once stopped, the 'fuzz' vanishes. Well is there any harm in using Rogaine where there are hair follicules? Is there the risk if I stop using the Rogaine, follicules that would have stayed will vanish because they had contacted the Rogaine? Also has anyone had any results with Rogaine beyond 'fuzz'? I'm wondering if it's really worth it! Thanks, Proactive
  6. Yeah, I've only been taking Propecia 4 months, actually less, but am noticing less morning erections, in fact I've gone from almost a daily occurence to 1 a week. I'm wondering if I'm just being paranoid reading www.propeciasideffects.com and www.propeciahelp.com, I think I'll just minimize the dosage for now, half a day as I can still get aroused. Regards, Proactive
  7. Thanks a lot. I may go down to half a pill a day, anyone know where online I can buy a pill cutter? Thanks, Proactive
  8. Any tips on how to effectively half Propecia? Do you just use a decent razor blade or is their a special tool for the job? If so, where can this be obtained? I've been on Propecia 4 months and am definitely noticing less morning erections. Thanks, Proactive
  9. Hi NN, No I was curious what NW Bill would be once all the hair has grown. Thanks for the tip on Propecia, I may consider it very soon. This forum is great! Thanks, Proactive
  10. Thanks Bill, I'm actually looking into Dr Epstein in Fl, just wanted to get others opinions as well. I hear a lot of good things about Dr Hasson as well, just wonder if he is as good at lighter top off's density work as the major sessions he is known for? I accept I will need to get a 2nd or 3rd transplant, and will never have the hair I had in my 20's, however I just want to get the timing right and with the right surgeon. Can I ask after 3 HT what NW rating you would be? I'm curious as to how far 3 HT's can lower the NW rating. Thanks, Proactive
  11. I've slight thinning of the top and the crown is starting to bald. I'm on Propecia, have been for 4 months, and started using 5% Rogaine. I'm considering a HT in 4 months, by then would have been on Propecia 8 months, but I'm not too keen on Propecia as I've noticed less morning erections since taking it. Does anyone know and can recommend a surgeon who can do good top off's or density work on the top and crown? I've already had a consultation and have been advised on 1700 and that I'm currently a NW3, but would like to hear others experience on this board, hence why I joined. Does anyone think it's too early to be considering a HT? By the way I'm 34 and I remember my grandfather (who I take after) being a NW6 at about 60 years. Thanks, Proactive
