  1. ONE INCH WIDE donor scar?! Horrible. Gald you were able to get it reduced somewhat.
  2. socialdrinker, rugger......the flash does kinda overexpose the picture, but the widened scar is very very apparent. Maybe adjust your monitor so the pic doesn't seem so washed out. THe scar is there and it's unfortunately quite wide.
  3. Stanley the 750 FIT patient...I was wondering if you had any updates. Thanks.

  5. I really don't think anyone and especially a 20 yr old should get a strip for a mere 600-800 grafts. I know it's cheaper but getting a linear scar that you will have forever for a tiny amount of grafts is not a good idea. Dr. Feller does FUE and that should be the only option for such a small number of grafts in my opinion (on a 20 yr old, IF you really should even get a HT at all).
  6. Who was your HT Dr.? Didn't they tell you what to expect after the surgery? How it works?
  7. I think Jeffrey Epstein is the one that gets talked about here sometimes. not 100% though.
  8. I think DaiVernon had strip from Feller and not FUE.
  9. I'm not a Dr. but I absolutely guarantee that with your recession 500 grafts will not make a dramatic difference. In fact 500 grafts will be very dissapointing most likely. Dr's feel free to chime in.
  10. You really, really......reallyyyy should not get a strip surgery for a measly 500 grafts!!! A linear scar that might stretch and widen (higher chance of that with a non-top tier Dr.) just for a few grafts. At least think about the stripless HT (FUE) for such a small session. If you "only need 500 grafts" you should not get a HT. If you get a HT based on a cheap price, or only get 500 grafts because that's all you can currently afford you should wait. Ask if they disect the strip grafts under stereoscopic miscroscopes. Does he use single blade scalpel for the strip? A part time HT surgeon is not a wise choice. Going down a path like that is leading to a high chance of regreting things later. Do it right the first time or don't do it at all. You need to keep doing research. Good luck!
  11. Hey Soap, Sorry man, didn't mean that as a shot at the hairstyle at all. I was intending to mention different styles to better show the work done. I'm not backtracking, that's really what I meant, didn't come off that way though, hehe. Sorry :-) I agree with what you said about not wanting a low or straight hairline. If I get an HT I will go the same way, keeping a reasonably mature and somewhat recessed hairline. Ahh the neverending debate between density and coverage, hehe. I think you are bang on that 1500 more in the frontal 1/3 would give you an awesome result. As far as pics, I admit that I (and I'm sure others) get spoiled by websites from Futzy, Jotronic and a few others that take pics of every variety under the sun. Admittedly I (and most people) probably wouldn't be as hardcore as them with taking so many pics. So just keep doing what you're doing. Anyways, I was just trying to say that I thought the results were better than what some people were saying for whatever that's worth. Cheers :-) PS- are you getting much sleep with the newborn? No kids here yet, but I've heard even stringing together a few hours is tough!
  12. Thanks tkotko! Can't wait to see the additional pics, angles, side view, hairline, etc. Looks good from what I can tell though!
  13. Figsy, Why don't you use the "edit" function to change the post your co-worker made.
  14. Any pics of your HT results? I saw you pre-op and post-op scab pics, but then no pregress pics. Would love to see some results pics. Thanks!

  16. I wouldn't do that. I assume your Dr (who is it by the way?)is talking about taking a strip from the side of the scalp? How many strip scars do you have from your previous work? Read this board and look into the top tier Dr's. Also look into FUE which is transplants without leaving a linear donor scar. This is a fairly recent development that is getting more popular as more DR'S learn it.
  17. If I recall correctly did you eventually report that your scar stretched? sorry if I'm confusing you with someone else. If it was you do you have any pics of the stretched scar and what steps (if any) have you/are you taking to correct it? If your scar is still thin I'd love to see pics of that also! Thanks. 18. Thanks for posting a pic, but you did not include any details whatsoever. How many grafts? Which DR? What HT method (strip or FUE)? What area of the head was transplanted? etc etc
  19. Hi, Just wondering which Dr. did your 2400 frontal FUE grafts. Also, you said this is your first HT, yet you also mentioned getting plugs 12 yrs ago? Sorry I can't help with your questions though. Oh I'm sure many here would LOVE to see pre-op and post op pics with 2400 fue just in the front. Please post (just the eyebrows up would be great)!! Thanks!
