  1. My weblog Posted updated 1 month post-op pics. The buzz cut is gone and I'm letting the hair grow in to see how much shockloss I'll have and how much coverage I can get on the donor scar. So far no shockloss or at least not much. Hair has grown long enough to cover the scar yet. I'm scheduled to see Dr. Lindsey in a couple weeks to examine the donor area. The journery continues.....
  2. I can't wait to see your 1 year post-op. Your results are going to be amazing. Congratulations!
  3. You look like a new man. The bozo hair style is gone forever. Your result look good!
  4. I've had 3 surgeries and the feeling in the donor area was usually back to normal after 3 months. My most recent surgery was 3 weeks ago and I don't have the itching problem. Does the itching occur all the time? Maybe it's related to something else in your daily routine. My old scar would get irritated if I work out too hard so that's why I mention something else in your daily routine causing the itching. 2 years is a long time to deal with that problem so checking with your doctor is probably best.
  5. My younger brother and I have the same hair loss pattern. We actually started loosing hair at the same time (age 23). Oh yeah, we are 6 years apart (31/25). The other men in my family actually started losing their hair much later than we did. Go figure
  6. Abby, Looks like you are cominig along really well at 6 months. Your frontal coverage looks really good and the hairs continue to grow through your scar. Congrats!
  7. Eman and tommyF, we all had our surgery around the same time 9/24,9/25. It's going to be cool tracking the progress together. Both of your blogs look like you're going to have great results. The count down to hair growth continues.
  8. Hello All, I've created a web blog to monitor the progress of a recent surgery with Dr. Lindsey on September 25th. I had 1500 grafts implanted and a scar revision. I went with 1500 grafts to add density to my frontal area. I had my sutures removed a week ago so now I'm 2 weeks post-op. I was so happy to get those sutures out! The scar is looking 100 times better than my old scar so I hope there's no stretching. I even decided not to lift weights for another couple weeks to prevent any streching of the scar. I decided to cut everything down to a buzz cut since the implanted region was shaved during surgery. Feel free to visit my blog. I plan to update it once a month. Good day to all!
  9. Hello all, I put together a hair blog to track the progress of my hair growth. I plan to update it once a month. It will be interesting to track the progress. Feel free to check it out. I'm currently 2 weeks post op and I have my hair all buzzed down. This is my first time posting a link to my blog so I hope it works. If not, let me know and I can try again. I guess I can start the timer and wait for the hair growth. Good day to all! My Blog
  10. Do you have any pics of the donor area?
  11. Martin M Dr. Lindsey is going to post my pre and post op pictures next week.
  12. Hello All, I've been a visitor to this site for quite a while and I've found this site very informative and useful. I previously had two other hair transplant surgeries that I wasn't happy with and I wish I had found this site before those experiences. My previous surgeries were by a doctor I don't remember about 4 years ago and Bosley as recent as 2 years ago. I decided to take the dive again and have another transplant surgery based on the results I've seen with the trichophytic closure. My main concern with my previous surgeries was my donor scar so I was looking for a doctor who had good results in regards to their donor scars. I chose Dr. Lindsey after reviewing his results from this site. I was really impressed by the results of his donor scar. I called Dr. Lindsey while I was on a lengthy business trip in the D.C area and he was more than willing to work around my work schedule to fit in the surgery. Dr. Lindsey was really easy going and knowledgeable from the first day we spoke and he was evening willing to do my consultation on a Saturday. I honestly felt he had my best interest in mind whenever we talked. I went in bright and early 7:30am on Thursday 9/25. I actually woke up really early at 5am. I'm not sure if it was excitement or nervousness but my guess is it probably was nervousness. With this being my third surgery, I pretty much knew what to expect and I was only a little nervous about the donor removal. After getting to the office, Dr. Lindsey and his staff made me feel really at easy. I took my medication and after reviewing the outline of my hair line we were ready to get started. I was actually surprised at how involved Dr.Lindsey was with the placement of my grafts. He was there doing the placement of my grafts for at least 75% of the time. The surgery seemed to go quickly with Dr. Lindsey, his staff and I talking and listening to music the entire time. I'm 36 hours post-op and I'm really happy with how things are looking. I go back to have my sutures removed next week. Dr. Lindsey said he will post pictures after I get my sutures removed. I would like to say that my entire experience with Dr. Lindsey and his staff was excellent and very grateful for all the information I've gained from reviewing this site. Good day to all!
