I am sorry to hear that you had bad experience with your HT.can you give us more details on how many grafts was transplanted ? also a before pic would also help a lot. who was your doc by the way? in my opinion,you have a great chance to sue this doc.even if you see results.

Ron Shapiro is in my opinion the BEST out there.He turned me down 2 times because he believed that I was too young to get a surgery. Although,I still disagree with him when it comes to my case because I believe Propecia has really stabilized my hairloss,it showed that he really cares about his patients. Go with Ron Shapiro and know that you are in the best hands. I did my HT with another GREAT doctor (Dr.Rahal) and I am really happy that I did it with him.But my #1 choice was SMG.

I found the comment by "16inchscar" to be the most interesting one.I always wondered about that too !!! what makes these people qualified to do such an important task of the HT? Perhaps if would be great if Bill could be kind and open a new disucssion for that.

wow!!!! ok it took me at least 25-35 min to read everybody's comment and I gatta say that I understand why Dr.Feller is kinda strong on his position. The people that claim the laser works simply fail to provide the basic proof to their claim. I am very pissed off because I used HairMax Laser comb and it never worked,if it did I wouldn't get the HT I got on March 13!!!! who is ganna pay my money back ! IF LASER DID REALLY WORK AND DID GROW HAIR,IT SHOULD HAVE REALLY REPLACED PROPECIA AND MINOXODIL AND HT BY NOW !!! I can totally relate to Dr.Feller for being very strong on his words because the guy can clearly see how these people would do anything to make money !!! I believe in debate and open discussion but I believe in drawing the line at some point: THIS TOY DOES NOT WORK !!! It has been given enough time,and they have made enough money off it,it's time to put a stop to it. I SAW how propecia slowed doesn my hairloss over time and how Rogaine grew some hair (mostly baby hairs) on my hairline !!! But I never saw any difference using the comb and I was dumb enough to try the comb first instead of using the FDA approved drugs.

Hey John,I would first consider option B for a while if the situation gets worse,I would try option D which is basically all you can do. Although Rogaine is not meant for the temple area,it does however stop further hairloss on that area,in my case,it actually grew lots of "baby hair" back which made my temple look less bald.but you really have to be consistent. you should also use the rogaine on other layers of your hairline to prevent further hairloss. I personally prefer the solution rather than the foam because,in our case with almost full head of hair,the chance of getting the foam on the sculp using hands is slim. I use "0.5 ml" of the Rogaine solution on my temples (0.5 ml total for both temples ).more than that will be messy and useless in my opinion. I always use a small napkin in case it starts to drip,but believe me once you start using it,it becomes a very fast daily ruotine,I do both temples in less than a min.

the life destroyers in Bosley call it Hair Restoration,stay awaaaaaaaaaaaaaay from any chain HT clinic.you are young and believe me I understand you completely,get on propecia and use Rogaien 5 % for at least 2 years,you will deff see some results and then if your hair loss slows down with these FDA approved drugs,then you can find great surgons that are recommanded here to give you a quality HT

I suggest Nioxin,I've been using it for the last 4 years.it's kinda expensive but it's worth,there is a clear difference between Nioxin (for thinning hair) and other shampoo brands.

dude talk to Ron Shapiro and Hassan & Wong or Rahal,you don't wana do something that you might regret later on,I would wait another year. don't feel shy about canceling

yeah he wants the right side to be less dense to apparantly match his left side,but based on the third pic of the 10 montsh update which he actually have shaved the right side,it seems that whatever he shaved was there for a reason because his hairline clearly looks imbalanced on the right side after he has shaved it

its752, maybe more pics is needed to really even understand what MP96 is talking about,but based on all his pics that he currently has,that's a A+ work to me. MP96 could you take more up-close pics from boths sides?

well looking at the pics after the surgery,it looks like the hairline he designed was balanced,and that is probebly the reason he wants you to go there.

dude,I am not trying to be mean or anything but I chose Rahal mostly because I saw your pics!!! your hair looks perfect !!! everybody loves thick hair!!! just put Gel to style it ! simple as that.I really don't understand how you can call that "terrible", you were bald on the sides!!!, you now have a perfecr hairline! I am two months post-op and if I get the 80% of the result that you got from him,I'll be more than happy. from the third pic on your 10 months,it seems like you actually shaved too much on the right side!!! thsi means that at least some of the hair you have shaved was there for a reason because now your hairline is a bit unabalanced in that pic because of the shaven right side. I will post pics soon

1) Get on Propecia ASAP 2) Start using Rogaine 5% twice a day, it does work if applied correctly 3) Stick with them and don't give up, the first 3 months,you will feel like nothing has chaneged,give it 9 months,it worked for me. Nioxin shampoo is also a good cleaner. just don't lose hope,the combination of these two FDA approved is the best thing you can possibly do.

Johna1a, where do stand in terms of growth bro?

I personally liked Dr.Rahal, he graduated top of his class and answers your questions with patience,I did research on him and I have not found a single negative feedback,I myself in 2 months post-op so I can't tell you anything at this stage.

thanks,MORE_HAIR I did around 1700 grafts with Dr.Rahal to fix up my receding hairline.I wanted to keep this a secret till I see results but I don't see any point in hidding it anymore.

thanks MORE_HAIR,I hope it starts to grow,I am feeling better since most of you went through the same thing. I haven't seen any pimple yet,I have just randomly seen very very tiny red spots which are flat so they can't be pimples.but again as Bill said,they might be ingrown hairs,I guess I just wait and see.

I really appreciate your response Bill,that is exactly what my girl friend said when she saw it,its not like it is bleeding,it is just "very" small amount of redness (blood) around one or two hairs.I just took a shower and the water washed it away,but there is still a very small pink area that I'll try to get my mom's camera to take some pictures of it and show it to you. Assuming these are ingrown hairs, should I be worried about them? I again appreciate your time for helping me
