  1. Hi Buba

I hate to give advice as there are many who are more qualified. I had enough hair to cover the operation site, don't know how it looks with yourself. I had 2886 grafts from Dr Rahal on the 27th of August. I was also a Norwood 3

Dr Rahal is a gentleman who practices his craft with great responsibilty and professionalism, his team are also professional and friendly. If you have to do this you have chosen a good Doctor. That does not mean that you will get the results you require. One tip I have for you..Stay in bed for three days after the OP and look at the ceiling.

  2. I just wonder where all this is going. The usual solution to lawsuits is that one party is adjudged as having right on their side and the other has to pay. The other solution is an out of court agreement. The harder the frontline gets the harder it is to reach a simple solution. Is anyone even trying to reach a simple solution. You will forgive me if I presume on your site and I am most certainly not a Armani agent but it all seems to be getting unnecessarily out of hand..

  3. I've been on it since April and I cant say it seems to have any good or bad effects. For the older guys it's worth remembering that Hair growth is only a side effect of the drug intended for treating prostrate enlargement which can be a problem in middle age. I dont think I have anything to lose by taking it. And Icertainly dont want the shedding if I stop it.

  4. As you know and most guys here will tell a HT is not a walk in the park. There is pain, swelling, rednes and itchiness, which can go on for months and there is never a guarantee. Shockloss is also a possibilty in that area. Why do it if you don't actually need to? I waited until I was 40 until my hairloss partern-according to Rahal had stabilised. I have forlock shock loss to my existing hair, it may be limited but it happened.

  5. My Blog "Predator" 2886 Rahal seems to have got lost as I updated it yesterday. perhaps I did something wrong with the activation, but all I see is the titles of my fotogallery, when I click on them nothing happens. If I have made a simple mistake perhaps it would be good to advise other users. I'd hate to have to do the blog again

I am not that well informed and can only speak on a general basis but when I was doing my research most of the amazing hairlines results did came from those 3 Doctors!

I could have done an HT closer to home in Europe but most of the top Doctors do claim they have a lot of European repair jobs!

I think that statisticly speaking top USA and Canada HT doc`s do provide much higher HT outcomes, am I wrong by saying this??

I hope not cause it took me 17hours to get to Ottawa!!

Speaking of money I can say that all the quotes I got in Europe for 3000grafts were over 35% higher than going with Dr. Rahal

I Love Europe but why do an HT here and pay 35% more when I can have a USA or Canada Top Doc do it for less?

So lets put some facts on the table

I had 2886 grafts in August with Dr Rahal in Canada

Total expediture including OP Flight Hotel and the rest ?‚¬7600= 96420USD=

  8. One other thing I'd like to add

I took a taxi back to the hotel following my consultation with a young fellow who had just had his OP. The fellow had a few problems after the OP. Dr Rahal turned up to help him out. (Bad news for me as I was sitting on the terrace with some guys having a beer I should not have been having the day before my OP as he drove up)

Reassuring though to know that the Doc is prepared to do all is required to ensure the well being of his patients

  9. It's clear from my Thread that at the moment I'm regretting my HT, but thats down to the phases I'm going through with shockloss itching and doldrums. I might be posting pics with big smiles in a few months and eating my words.

One thing that I don't regret is choosing Dr Rahal. My experience in Canada was as good as it could be for this operation, he is a very straight professional and I am secure in the knowledge that I will be simply unlucky if I don't get the result I hope for because I did go to one of the best.

There are many other superb doctors out there and even more that you would want to stay away from. It's hard to recommend any doctor until you know what the final result is. I researched for over a year on sites in Germany and all over the English speaking world, until I came down to Hasson and Wong or Rahal

  10. Thanks guys i know I'm a better situation than a lot of people, I had 2900 grafts in the front on a Norwood three. probably the reason for such fierce itching and numbness. It's hard not to scratch, and what I find strange is the worst numbness and itching is in the areas he didn't touch^. I'm hoping it will improve soon

  11. I did do my research...

maybe I'll post here again and say how pleased I am with the results and I was glad that I did it in the end. If that is the case I wil be sure to post..I Know about the doldrums and ugly ducklings and I've been telling myself it's normal since month 1. What worries me is despite propecia, continued loss to the forelock area and the thinning down of grafts I lost that grew back (if you follow)I've talked to Rahal about this and they say it's normal. I have confidence in my doctor, my scar is really well healed, but the lingering doubt remains as after 3 Months the itching, redness

    - Shedding started after 12 days post OP. I guess, 40-50 percent of the grafts have already disappeared.

    Hi Dedom

Your lucky I still have some residual redness

Howa re you doing with Numbness and itching these have been my problems after my Rahal OP on the 27th of August

    - Even though Dr. Rahal extremely dense packed the grafts, my recipient area is only slightly pinkish.

    - Scar looks great right now, but I know that doesn't mean a lot. Anyhow, actually it looks better than after my first surgery. Fingers crossed.

    Comments are appreciated!
