Hi Bill, I used to have finastride regurlarly but then stopped as my doc felt it could have side effects..i now consult Dr.Rajput who is not so popular on this forum becoz of Sahil. His medications suggest that I use finastride 1 mg twice a week..I still have hair which I want to save so that I can avoid HT...What do u suggest. Wud taking Finastride twice a week help or i should go for a regular dosage.. Sandip.

That's rite..I used to use minioxidil twice daily..my hair was thick then and my friends used to tell me that there was a big difference...but since year, due to work i use minioxidil once and my hair on the crown is thinning and there is patch...

Thanks for replying Bro...Really appreciate it...As per ur advise, shall go for Dermatch. I need it only for the crown as I have a small patch where hair is thinning. I am on minioxidil, would dermatch interfere with. Also is it safe ordering stuff online..I know its a dumb question but i generally avoid online shopping...also how much did it cost u with taxes and shipping.

Hi all, I am planning to use one of these i.e Toppik, nanogen or Dermmatch..Which one would u guys suggest...this would to cover the crown...i have hair on the crown but its thin...and i may not use it everyday...may be once or twice a week...anyone knows which is best for Indian weather (not sure if climate makes a diference..Als i wanted to know abt cost of these products and availabilty in India. So do people use duasteride as it is not FDA approved...Hey Arrie did u loose most of ur hair to undergo HT...how much did it cost u???

Thanks bro....i am using minioxidil and finasteride....i have heard abt duasteride but have also heard that FDA has not approved it...i may be wrong also...wat i love abt this forum is that people r interested in helping u out...i really feel happy that now i can speak, take advice and who knows educate others abt hair loss and HT...so Arrie, have u undergone HT...

Hi Bill, First of all I really wanna thank everyone who is responsible for this forum..u,pat and others involved...This forum is really helpful and I am really happy that I got to know abt this forum...i stopped finasteride coz my earlier doc was scared of the side effects considering my age...i have started consulting Dr.Rajesh Rajput who gives combinations of medicines which have zinc,ammino acids,iron and minerals along with finestride...i also use minoxidil...I know that Dr.Rajput does not have a good reputation on this forum..I did read Sahil's post..My present situtaion is that I am not a candidate for HT since I have hair..The hair on the crown is thinning. I would like to save the Hair that I have now so that I do not have to go for HT..I am trying Dr.Rajput's medicines...let c if it works for me..wat do u suggest...would medicines help me save my hair..Would u be able to suggest some doc who could help me save my hair... Hi, But can Dermmatch be used after applying minoxidil...would it interfere???We do get toppik in India but not Dermmatch...wat abt hair sprays like prothik..are they safe to use considering that we use minioxidil everyday. sandip

Hi Jagdish, Just wanted to check with u..have u used Dermmatch...is it better than toppik...the hair on the crown of my head is thin and hence there is a kind of a patch...so which one would work better...also since i stay in mumbai,india, which one is better to use, in terms of cost and availability...i havent used an of the products...also can these be used daily??? Hi, Its been sometime that I have been visiting this forum and reading posts...I really wanna thank people who are responsible for this forum..I have got a hereditary baldness as my brother 32 yrs old, completely bald and he shaves his head...I started loosing hair by the age of 20 and started using minioxidil.I have been using it for 2-3 yrs old and am happy with the results...but lately my hair on the crown is thinning as i use minioxidil only once...i used take finistride but stopped it...i think i still have time for a HT...and really wanna protect the hair that I have now...hope u guys would help me..Also I am looking for a good doctor who can help me save the hair that I have...I stay in Mumbai, India and am 25 yrs old...Awaiting someone to reply...
