    Hi, Even I have been taking generic finastride and found it to be very effective...Have read about the side effects but havent experienced any so far..its been more than a yr now... Sandy

    Hi Sam, I was on Finax and then moved to finpecia. Using it for a year now...i havent had any side effects till now...my doc had asked me undergo liver tests i.e. SGOT and SGPOT every 6 months to ensure that it does not effect the liver. No Sexual effecs till date...honking as always and gf also never complained. Sandip

    Hi Ashok, I have been using Nanogen for the past 2 yrs. I get it from Richfeel for about 1900 for 12g. The basic requirement for a concealer to work is that the scalp should have some hair to hold it. I have been using it for 2 yrs and no one has ever detected it. I have been extremely happy with it however i really want to stop it as I have to shampoo my hair everyday. Regards, Sandip

    Hello Dr. Madhu, Glad to know that you have responded to Bill's email and sharing your pics. Just to let you know that Bill and his team are having a tough time getting a gud doc in India which would help us Indians. We all hope that that this forum finally gets one gud doc in India.     Hi, Its been sometime that I have actually visited this forum....now I read a lot about Dr.Madhu...i am really inquisitive to know more abt this doc...and i also hear that he does not respond to emails. Can we try and consolidate a list of his patients...and then track each ones progress..v may end up marketing this doc but it would also help us indians finally decide if this doc is worth discussing. Any opniions guys!!!! Sany

    Hi guys, I have been on minioxdil for about 4-5 yrs...been on finastride for about a year now...i am uploading my pics..4 of them taken in sept 08 and the rest taken this month...does anyone see a difference..comments highly appreciated. Sandy

    HI Bill, This is what I do.. apply 1 ml just after morning shower and then go to work. apply 1 ml just after evening shower after coming back from work. I take 2 showers as I was informed that scalp should be clean before application. Regards, Sandip

    Hi drmstx, I had consulted a doc here and he advised that smoking not linked to hair loss. I have been on finastride for more than a year now and havent experienced any side effects...so u gud to go.. SANDIP

    hi shah, have u been able to talk to some of his earlier patients...or meet them...I beleive most docs would ask u to on Finastride before HT... sandip

    Dr. Cooley, I am little confused... 1) So do you suggest that Finastride should be taken everyday or thrice a week? 2) How would one come to know what dosage is helpful i.e. daily or thrice a week. 3) Would using Nizoral shampoo give the same benefit as provided by finastride. Regards, Sandip

    Hi Bill, Even I have read in minioxidil's manual that if hair does not regrow in 4 months, then stopping the medication is best. I have using miniox for about 3-4 yrs now. I have not noticed hair growth but am able to maintain my hair. I mean my hair is kind of the same when i started this medication. does it mean that I should stop the medication.. sandip
