Hi Bill, I used to take Finastride twice a week and the rest of the days, used to take multivitamin tab...now i have started to take finastride 1 mg daily and a break on Sunday. Are there any sideeffects of finastride...I heard that there could be a damage to one's liver..and if taking finastride one should take liver tests every 3 months to make sure there is no damage. wat do u suggest?? also is it is safe to take multivitamin tabs with finastride... Hello Krishna, Apart from the doctor who can not be named here, there is really no other doctor in India whom you can go to with any degree of confidence. I did a lot of research, and in the process met many patients. If you want HT, and want a recommendation here, I will advise you to read up the coalition list of doctors. Thaey are expensive, but they are good. I wont trust Dr. Rajput with my dog, let alone with my head. --------------------------------------------- Hi Jolly, I consult Dr.Rajput not for HT but to try and save the hair that I have. I think Dr.Rajput screwed up his name on this forum is bcoz of Sahil..Do u know of any other patient who had a similar experience. Also have we actually tried getting in touch with Sahil just to check his progress..Nothin against u bro, but i think we cant judge doctors by just one patient. Hi nm315, I am 25 now...I bought nanogen yesterday and my mom was shocked when i actually applied it. So am happy with the result...but just that I feel it in my hands when I touch it..I have read the post from Robert and hence planning to get Dermmatch..So how much would it cost to get HT done from Thailand..I think USA or Canada is still a good option considering the posts I have read so far (if you have that kind of money)..I wonder when India would have such good doctors. We excel in all the fields, but when it comes to Cosmetic surgery we lack... my brother is bald, but does not want to go for HT..He shaves his head and people tell him that it looks cool... ...So have u consulted an docs in India???

Hi Bill, I am currently on Minioxidil and Finastride (twice a week)...I think u must have forgotten abt me...I have been using minioxidil for over 3 yrs now and am happy with the results...I used to take finastride 2 yrs ago but then stopped it due to the advise of my doc as he felt since i was just 23 at time, i could be prone to side effects. After that I noticed a the hair on my crown thinning and now there is a visible patch..I have now again started using Finastride(twice a week) along with some muti vitamin and mineral tab. I consult Dr.Rajput...I am interested in protecting the hair that I have so that I don have to opt for HT later...can Minioxidil or Finastride grow hair back on the crown or stop my hair loss completely....As far as I know they prolong hair loss... Hi Bill, (Edited) Even Dr. Rajput is not recomended on this forum due to Sahil. I think we Indians have a very limited option of consulting good doctors. I think probably Sahil is the only person who felt Dr. Rajput is not good. I would try and get in touch with Sahil just to check his progress.

Want hairs, I beg to differ on this.I really don think washing hair regularly is bad or increases hair loss. Hair loss is generally genetic and has nothing to do with washing hair...

I agree with Mrjb...I think if there is no credicle information, then laser comb is pure BS...i think the FDA needs to get involved here and stop companies from marketing these products...

Hi Mrjb, Why do feel minioxidil is messy..I think applying a 1 ml solution is not that messy at all...its not sticky, does not smell bad...and finally u guys know better than me that it works...Also I think in USA, u get minioxidil sprays (I may be wrong..seen the stuff on Discovery)..

Hey Rahul, Wat do mean by head bath..Washing hair with shampoo or just with plain water..i wash my hair twice daily with plain water(no shampoo)..The other reason I do it to apply minioxidil..I use shampoo thrice a week or sometime say around 3-4 times a week...Washing hair daily keeps ur scalp clean which helps u if u r using minioxidil..Also anything clean is always better...

Isnt Laser comb approved by FDA..If FDA has approved it to combat hair loss and if laser comb does not help, I feel the matter should be reported so that people dont feel cheated. It may be a very wierd thought but I sometimes feel companies are now trying to woo people with hair loss by providing wrong info. As it is a person who is lossing hair is emotionally disturbed..and then u have companies marketing products which then cheat people.

I am not sure if i am asking this questions under the right thread. If FDA has not approved Nizoral, how can Nizoral help block DHT.

I am using Finastride twice a week with minoxidil(once daily,planning to apply it twice) + some multivitamin tabs. I looked for Nizoral A-D but could not get it. I am using Nizoral manufactured by Johnson & Johnson which has ketoconazole 1%. I have started to use it. I also found ketoconazole 2% solution by Johnson & Johnson but was confused if that was a shampoo or a solution and hence did not buy it.

I never had any side effects but my prev doc feared side effects hence asked me to stop regular dosage..I now consult Dr.Rajput who is not that popular on this forum. His prescription are a combination of Multivitamin Tabs and Finastride..Can Medicines stop Hair loss completely. Say Finastride or minioxidil??

Hi Mrjb, Wat do u suggest. should i use Nizoral or Revita. I don know if they are availble in India. I think Nizoral is availble. Can I use it without consulting a doc..Would it have any side effects like more hair loss.
