my FUE @ Rahal, 10 days pics
Rahal Hair Transplant replied to born76's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Hi TakingThePlunge, This surgery was performed by Dr. Rahal not Dr. Feller as your post indicates. Thanks! Adrian -
Mike12, Dr. Rahal shouldn’t be labeled as more aggressive, but he will review your situation in person if possible, and make the appropriate recommendation based on many factors including your age, current and future hair loss, hair quality etc. Dr. Simmons is a great doc as well and meeting both in person and then deciding would be the best route to take.

Hi drmstx, Thanks for your post. We offer a 10% discount up to $1000 off our regular prices for any out of province or out of country patients. Also our prices are in Canadian dollars as well. $4.00 per graft up to 2500 grafts and then $3.00 per graft after that. Please let me know if you have any other questions. -
This patient came to see us after receiving 3 separate surgeries by other hair transplant centers. He was unhappy with the results and the bad donor scarring. We were able to excise some of the old scarring along with harvesting 2250 grafts to add density to the zones indicated in the pre-operative images. He is back today for his second scar revision procedure with a plan to use any grafts harvested for the crown area.

Hi Sorry about that. We had a few technical issues. I have found your images and re -posted them for you. Thanks!! -
This patient had 3879 grafts transplanted in September 2008 to re-establish his frontal third and top. He was just back last week for his second procedure, where he received 2771 grafts to work on his vertex area along with adding a few more grafts to his hairline. He will be updating his blog soon with further images of his second surgery. http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...e-page.asp?WebID=927 Second Procedure - 2771 Grafts

Permanent shockloss, any suggestions?
Rahal Hair Transplant replied to freakin's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Because this was a repair case, as the patient received some pluggy work in the past (as you can see from the pre-operative images below). The first concern was fixing the hairline area to look more natural. After discussion with this patient it was mutually decided not to work on the forelock area. This was a conscious decision by the patient and he elected not to do the forelock area for certain reasons. The main point is that the patient lost hair in areas not transplanted due to the natural progression of hair loss. This is not necessarily the fault of surgery. The risks were explained and do occur. The forelock area is easily correctable by adding more grafts to this area. We have discussed with him a plan of action on the phone and have yet to hear from him. We now see that he has taken his case public, so we wanted to issue a response to this recent posting. -
2 days post op with Dr Rahal - blog updated

Severn, We normally shave a larger area in anticipation of a certain size donor strip. Sometimes a patient has good laxity/density, therefore we are able to take a smaller donor strip. It's best to shave the area prior to surgery as opposed to shaving a bit more if needed. Also we shave a margin around the donor area to keep any hairs out of the sutures when we are closing the incision. -
Guy's, Just to clarify Dr. Rahal definitely did not work with Dr. Armani in 2002
