This patient had a total of 5,043 grafts done over 2 sessions all with follicular units. Photos shown below are pre op and post op. Dr. Rosanelli would have like to do 3,000 grafts per session, however the donor area did not allow that.

This patient had a total of 6,899 grafts done over four sessions. He was between a class VI and VII. Dr. Rosanelli advised the patient to not do the crown area and just concentrate on the hairline, frontal scalp, and mid scalp for more density due to limited grafts from the donor area. However the patient prefers to have the crown area done. Four sessions were done between 2010 to 2012 all with follicular units. Photos shown below are pre op, immediate post op and post op.

Grafts are growing from posterior misdscalp all the way to the crown and that is probably what you are looking at.
