37 y/o male patient with frontal temporal recession comes in for HT1. His 1,588 follicular units were approximately: 30% 1 hairs 65% 2 hairs 5% 3 hairs The after pictures were taken at 16 months.

This very pleasant 42 year old male comes in to the office in 2009 with significant hair loss looking to restore the front hairline to around the vertex transition point. I used 2,662 follicular units and 600 double follicular units over the 2 cases.

This 35 year old came to see me initially on 5/19/2011 and we did 1,754 follicular units, with approximately 20% 1 hair grafts, 50% 2 hair grafts and 30% 3 hair grafts. The followup pictures were about 17 months later.

This 35 year old male comes in for a very subtle retouch of his front hairline. He wanted some softening up of his front hairline and we used 650 follicular units.

This 32 year old artist came in for HT1 to improve his frontal third area. The plan was for 760 follicular units and 230 double follicular units. The results shown from this small case are 16 months after HT1.

This 54 y/o first presented to our clinic in 2008, at which time he had his first procedure of 1420 grafts (4272 hairs) consisting of 1010 FU's and 410 MFU grafts. He returned in September of 2011, at which time Dr. Pawlinga transplanted 1324 grafts (3989 hairs) consisting of 1014 FU's and 310 MFU's. He was seen this week in our Syracuse consultation clinic, at which time the "after" photos displayed here were taken. He is fully satisfied and requires no further transplants. This posting is of a 32 y/o Male who has had 3 HTs with me. His 1st HT was back on 4/2007 with 1,244 grafts, 1,144 FUs and 100 MFUs. Grafts were placed primarily from the FHL to about 1 inch prior to the Vertex Transition Point. His 2nd transplant was on 2/2009 and it was 1,410 FUs, primarily on the last 3rd of the scalp to the crown area. His 3rd transplant was this past April 2012, of 1,472 FUs , again primarily on the last 3rd of the scalp to the crown area.

26 y/o comes in for his 1st HT. The plan was to fill in from his front hairline to just before the vertex transition point. These results are at 8 months.

29 yo male comes in for a small case on June 21, 2012. The pictures are mainly on June 22. Will hopefully see him around 12 months to take follow-up photos.

This 50 year old gentleman walked into the office today to have some pictures taken and to get dates for his HT 2. He had 1,293 Follicular Units and 350 Double Follicular Units placed back on 6/9/2011.

73 year old male Actively dating Wanting to look younger and have more hair on his head Had a relatively small case due to finances 1,143 grafts/2,826 hairs 963 Follicular Units: 192-1s / 579-2s / 192-3s 180 Double Follicular Units: average 5 hairs/DFU He is 9 months on HT #1 and he decided to drop in to our office just to say hello and show us his results to date. Not a big case at all but enough to make him very happy! So, when I am consulting with a prospective patient in their thirties or forties and they tell me that they won't care how much hair they have on their head when they get older, well that comment always brings a little smile to my face because of patients like this gentleman...

This 42 y/o male presented to our clinic several years ago. He has had three transplant procedures during that time and recently came for a small "touch-up" of the rear crown/vertex area. He is very pleased with the density and naturalness of the front area. He started with us 7 years ago and his area of balding did increase over that time, requiring a larger area to be filled in than when he first presented (as in the "before" photos). His hair is fine also. The graft numbers were a total of 6233 FU's and 275 DFU's during those three sessions, for a total of 10,352 hairs. Suzanne N.B. This 26 y/o had one transplant procedure performed 16 months ago by Dr. Christopher Pawlinga and returned today for a brief consultation visit, at which time these "after" photos were taken. His procedure consisted of 1585 FU grafts, which came out to around 3000 hairs. His FU's were: 30% 1-hair; 60% 2-hair; and 10% 3-hairs. This 46 year old man was first seen by Dr. Chris Pawlinga in 2008 in consultation and had his first session at the end of that year made up of 1590 grafts (3849 hairs), and his second session at the end of 2009 with 1732 grafts at that time. The "after" photos shown are from 10 months after his second session. In total, he received 3322 grafts, made up of 2899 FU grafts and 423 DFU grafts, totalling 8287 hairs. He plans on coming in this year for his final session to achieve the final density he wants.

This pleasant 69 yo male came in on 12/2/10 for HT1. He wanted some hair to frame his face. He received 1,302 FUs and 346 DFUs. He returns 10 1/2 months later for HT2.

This 27 y/o male presented to Dr. Pawlinga for a hair transplant in 2008 and had two procedures in all, receiving a total of 2985 grafts equal to 6940 hairs. These grafts were divided into 2513 FU grafts and 472 DFU grafts. The patient dropped by the other day to show the doctor his results, which he was very pleased with. This gentleman, who was 58 at the time, came in for his first transplant procedure in 2007 and received 1627 grafts from Dr. Christopher Pawlinga at our clinic. The entire top of the head along with both front temple areas were filled in, using 380 MFU grafts (4-5 hairs each) and 1247 FU grafts. He returned last month for a second session of 1511 grafts (3855 hairs) to add more density. In his "before" photos, the ones with the red shirt were taken on the day of his first consultation and the ones with the blue shirt were on the day of surgery. Suzanne N.B. This young man was transplanted by Dr. Christopher Pawlinga at our office recently with 1480 FU grafts, placed in lateral slit sites. His FU's consisted of 25% 1-hairs, 50% 2-hairs, 25% 3 hairs. This 24 year old patient came in with a desire to fill-in his frontotemporal areas bilaterally. His frontal tuft hairs appeared strong. The plan was to place around 600 grafts in each of the frontotemporal areas.
