Thanks! If my memory serves me well it was 3707 grafts with a majority of them being used to reconstruct a hairline.

Appreciate it! I was told by Dr. Turan I would most likely need a second HT for the mid scalp and that I had more than enough extra grafts in my donor if I wanted to go for that second procedure. 💪🏽

Here is an update for my hair transplant I received at the end of February of this year! There is some definite growth starting to come through and I’m starting to notice that most of the redness has finally subsided as well. 

My donor area has healed completely and all itchiness/ and majority of my numbness in both donor and implant area has gone away! It almost looks like I never had a hair implant to the untrained eye when looking at the donor area. At this point it’s just a waiting game!

FUECapilar has been quite well with reaching out and following up with me regarding my hair transplant. They’ve reached out on the 10 day, 30 day, as well as the 3 month mark requesting pictures and following up to see how I am doing post surgery. 

Besides the surgery, the only thing I’ve noticed is that my daily dose of 1mg oral Finasteride might be having some side effects that may be concerning. I’ve been taking it for over a year and some change with no real side effects but lately some ED issues have started to come about. I’ve dialed back and started to take .5mg instead while I wait for an appointment with my dermatologist to see what will happen.

Donor seems to be growing in just fine! I was worried about it not fully growing back correctly but everything seems to be sorting itself out. Here’s a post op pic and a one month post op pic for reference:

Yes it was a 2 day session. First day was approximately ~ 1900-2000 grafts and was focused primarily on the reconstruction of the hairline. Next day was mid scalp and beyond! Cost was around 5200 usd!

I finally pulled the trigger and decided to get a hair transplant with Dr. Turan. I have just got back to the hotel and wanted to share how the transplant looks at the moment. Looks quite well to me for post operation. Total graft count is 3707. 
 

I hope to write a full review of my experience with Fuecapilar in the next couple of days in case anyone may be considering this clinic.

@Doron Harati @Gatsby @Ajamilo I am currently taking oral minoxidil 5mg as well as finasteride 1mg daily for the last 10 months. I noticed it has stopped the hair loss but not much regrowth at the moment. I read that it can take up to two years for finasteride to show full results so I am playing the waiting game. As far as pics, here’s some shots of the crown + the donor areas!

I am looking for a bit of guidance regarding my upcoming surgery with Dr. Keser. I have an appointment set with Dr. Keser in late May and have been going back and forth with his translator via WhatsApp. The translator stated the procedure will most likely be between 2000 and 2500 graphs. He also sends me a photo with the potential area for transplants highlighted but it seems that the crown is not highlighted. I asked the translator and he stated that Dr. Keser won’t touch the crown area due to it still thinning. Translator stated Dr. Keser believes since it’s still thinning, there is a potential to damage the current hair with a transplant so he will not touch it. Anyone have success with Dr. Keser with a similar issue that could weigh in on this? I was looking to get the crown area touched up as well with the same surgery but now I’m thinking of reconsidering another Dr for the procedure. Any information would be highly appreciated!
