  1. How did you experience with Dr. Nader go? Drive into and out of Reynosa was good? Nice to see that he allowed you to keep your recipient area unshaved. My appointment with him is in 2 weeks and this is exactly what I'm hoping to have done (ushaved recipient/hairline/frontal work). As for your repair case, I hope it turns out great! He seems to be very ethical and does a good job. I'll be following your case as I'll be almost on the same timeline as you. What density did he operate at for you?
  2. Hey, I think Bogotá Hairlines is a great choice. Now they have 3 doctors, personally I’d go with Dr. Pareja if price is a factor. I’ve read patient reviews and they’ve said when they chose the Dr. Camacho package, sometimes he wasn’t even in the room operating. Not to say he isn’t a great doctor, he has shown very good results. If you choose Dr. Camacho, you have Dr. Pareja or Dr Carranza working along side him. Dr. Pareja is on maternity leave and is back in early July. I was in Colombia 6 months ago and had an in person consult with Dr. Pareja. She’s very ethical as she told me what other ethical doctors have such as Nader. In regards to Nader, his prices have gone up. 2000 grafts are now $7453 USD and 2500 grafts are at $8750 USD. He does offer a reimbursement of $300USD for hotel and 10% discount if you pay half cash half credit card. My appointment with Nader is in 10 days, super excited. A little over my budget but it’s the convenience of not having to fly to Turkey or Thailand. Bogotá Hairlines is a good option though as you won’t have jet lag. The clinic itself is located in a safe area, I walked around the neighborhood for an hour with earphones in lol. Hope this helps!
  3. Thanks for the response! Yeah Brenda just emailed me and said his density for hairline is at 45FU/cm2 - 50FU/cm2 so should be good haha. I look forward to seeing your progress!
  4. She does some great work! I was wondering if you could provide some insight on the questions I posted on my post? Thanks!
  5. Hi all, Hoping some of you could provide me some good advice! I’ve had many consults with doctors and I have picked my top 3: Nader (Mexico) Laorwong, and Patty (both in Thailand). Nader: have an appointment scheduled next month. He suggested 2000-2500 grafts for my frontal area and conservative but aesthetic hairline. He does not want to touch my thinning crown yet as he believes I have limited donor area. 40FU/cm2 density. Cost: $7543-8750usd Laorwong: have an appointment scheduled in early October. He suggested 1500-1600 grafts for my hairline without lowering it. He wanted to add 1500 grafts to my crown but I declined as I believe I should hold off on that region for now. 50FU/cm2 density. Cost (partially shaved FUE): $3936usd Patty: no appointment scheduled. She suggested 2000-2500 grafts for frontal area and conservative area. Does not suggest crown area right now due to limited donor. 45FU/cm2 density. Cost: $2710usd I live in the US so travelling wise it is easier for me to go to Dr. Nader. $10k has always been my budget on my first hair transplant so that’s not an issue for me. However, I am concerned about density. As you can see in my pictures, my side donor area isn’t great and I am starting to have a small thinning dip at the back of my crown. I have been on oral finasteride for 2.5 years (has slowed down my hair loss, but still shed). Have also been on oral minoxidil for 9 months (no results, keep shedding on scalp, more body hair). All 3 doctors can perform partially shaved FUE and that is what I’m looking for due to my career. Three questions: 1. What doctor and what density should I go for in my frontal area? I am concerned that I will not like the result of Nader’s density. I’m also concerned that Laorwong’s estimate of 1500 grafts is too little. 2. Is there a difference between 1500 grafts at 50FU/cm2 vs 2000-2500 grafts at 40FU/cm2? 3. Will a partially shaved FUE bring me the same results as full shave? All doctors have said yes. *not looking to lower hairline, just want density and conservative look to be able to shape face/style hair*
  6. Hey man, I have an appointment with Nader next month and my hair loss is similar to yours in the front and mid scalp (diffuse/receding hairline). I can't message you for some reason but I have a couple questions: 1. How was the drive crossing border into Mexico and on the way back to the US? I went on google maps and the area of the clinic looks a little bit run down/sketchy lol. 2. I am also planning on doing a partially shaved FUE on the frontal area/hairline. Did Dr. Nader say anything regarding the effectiveness/results of keeping the recipient area unshaved? 3. He recommended me 2000-2500 grafts. At 40FU/cm2 density, I'm not sure that 2000 grafts would provide me with my desired look. Did you have any concerns regarding density? 4. When were you able to take the band-aid off your head? Did he provide you with anything to wear on your head? Thanks!
  7. Hey, were you able to get a hold of Dr. Nader? Tried to send you a pm but it wouldn’t allow me. I’m new here and have been trying to reach Nader for 1 month.
