  1. 1. I was definitely nervous about the drive and the location. It turned out to be fine. It’s only a couple minutes past the border, before you know it you’ll be there. Dr. Nader’s calm and relaxed demeanour puts everything to ease. 2. He didn’t mention anything about the effectiveness of unshaven. He just asked if I wanted to leave the recipient long, I told him I didn’t care either way, I just wanted the best end result. He said in my case, it wouldn’t change anything. 3. I did not have any concerns of the density, I let him decide everything. I guess I’ll find out after 1 year if the density is adequate 🤷‍♂️. 4. He gives you a blue surgical cap post op. I believe you can take it off the following day. I wore a very loose beanie in the airport. Good luck!
  2. Month 3 Not much to report, the odd new hair has poked out. Here’s hoping for a more eventful month 4 update!
  3. 2 months. Also wanted to include the exact post op graft break down:
  4. 1 month. Shed most of the grafts. Happy that my donor is finally at a length that can conceal my previous FUT scar.
  5. I was good either way, I didn’t care. I told him to do whatever he wanted. Dr Nader said he was able to leave the recipient area to help me conceal the area.
  6. Thanks! Dr. Nader inserted between the existing hairs in the middle, and brought the sides down slightly. Dr. Cam Simmons performed the FUT in Toronto in 2012.
  7. Day 10 Pretty much all scabs are off. How do you think it looks? Will update next at 1 month.
  8. 1 week post. Nothing noteworthy in the 1st week. Ended up catching a good cold, so hopefully my coughing didn’t dislodge anything. Redness and inflammation in my donor area has improved. I have super sensitive skin, so I assumed it was going to be a little more inflamed than average. In the next couple days I’m going to really work on getting rid of the remains scabs, anyone have hints on that?
  9. Hello everyone! A little bit about myself. Currently 33 years old. Previously had 3000 grafts FUT completed 11 years ago. Happy with the previous procedure, it’s held me over for 10 years 🤷‍♂️. Have been on finasteride for 12 years. It got to the point where it was difficult to conceal my hair loss, so knew it was time to get another procedure. Thanks to this forum, Dr. Nader was very high on my “wish list.” I reached out to him at the beginning of January of this year. He responded to me within a couple days, estimating I needed 2000-2500 grafts. I immediately booked the procedure for November. Minus the constant bad luck of delayed flights, the entire trip went super smoothly. Everything previously said about Dr. Nader on this forum is the honest truth. Absolute wonderful caring person. You can’t find someone more ethical and compassionate. After his assessment, he determined I needed 2000 grafts. Final result was 2009. He was happy that approximately 10% of my grafts were 4 hair follicles, hopefully that translates well. Attached are some pictures before the procedure, 1 picture from day 1, and some pictures at day 3 after my 1st wash. Feel free to ask me any questions.
  10. Amazing! Was wondering if you took a picture of the scar? Thanks!
