I am having problems posting my pics on my weblog and I dont understand why?? I also tried to post some pics on the photo album, but its stating that my pics are to big for the format. I am not a computer wizard so if anyone can help that would be great because I do want to show my ht. Bill Maybe you can help? Is there a problem with the weblog page at this point.

I am fortunate and I will tell you that for me even to go through with an Ht was a huge step. My belief on such a generous hair donation was definitely in my prayer life to God. I had prayed for nine years that god would lead me to the right doctor and I perserverd until I met up with Dr. Epstein. I just knew he was the guy I had been waiting for and the confirmation was his generousity. God put me in the right place at the right time.. And if anybody knows me I am very thankful and appreciate what god has givin me back. Dr. Epstein runs his business as I run my business (people 1st and the benefits of your reputation out weigh everything in a business) I own an Apartment Rental office in Boston and some people just dont have the $$$ all the time and you give breaks when you feel that person is a good investment) Gods word says what you give out in life will come back to you sometimes a 100 fold. If you are a giving person with your finances with others,God will bless you in your finances with others. Dr. Epstein is a smart man and I believe that he understands this concept in the giving portion. He is a blessed man,and he is not all about the money. But every good worker does deserve his wages!!! I had a tight lax area and did not do the scalp exercises. I was really worried and in the same situation as yourself. Great donor area with tight lax area. Dr. Jeff Epstein gave me an estimate of 2300 grafts and he also was very concerned with my scar size. If you look at his site foundhair.com he states that what truely makes a great Ht doctor is the work that is done on the donor area. My 1st ht was done feb 7th 2008 and the doctor pulled out 2953 grafts with a spectacular donor scar. look up my posts and see what my questions where to the others on this site or just email Dr. Epstein and he will be conservative and truthful with you on your situation for advice.

to everyone out there I just had an Ht done with Dr. Epstein on feb 7th 2008. If you look up my name you will see that I was very concerned about the number of grafts and the size of the donor scar a day or 2 before the procedure with my last min post questions. Dr. Epstein gave me an estimate of 2300 grafts since my donor lax was a bit tight.He is a conservative Doctor and looks out for his patients best interest as his top priority. Dr. Epstein in my case pulled out 2953 grafts with a tremendous beautiful donar scar line. Just look at my weblog with all my post op pics. To boot he gave me the 653 grafts for free. I have never seen on this site that many grafts givin out for free from posts. He is a man of integrity and to the man who posted this please call him and tell him your emotions. He is the type of man who cares about your feelings and he wants you to be happy and if you call him he will make you happy. I call Dr. Epstein coach, because he is a coach and a 5 star doctor in his field. Thanks Dr. Epstein your the best!!!! Dennis from Boston

thanks thanatopsis!!! No the problem was from my end and I just posted all my pics on my weblog. When I went to post on the photo album section it stated that my pictures where to big in size for the format. Im not a computer guru so do you know how to smaller the size of my pics to fit the format so everyone can check out my pics without going to my weblog.

Superior Doctor!!! I am so pleased with his work!!! I was really worried about my donor scar and laxtivity of the amount of hairs we where shooting for in the donor area. (2300 grafts was our goal) I did not want a big scar so the doctor said trust me Dennis and I will make you happy) For some funny reason I just trusted this Doctor (gut instinct) Well the procedure was a piece of cake and no pain, no swelling and I went out that same night after my surgery with my wife and baby to a very nice restraunt that Dr. Epstein recomended. Faboulouse Food in Miami!! Went on a cruise the next day and enjoyed the Miami atmosphere. (all around great ht and great mini vacation without being locked up in my hote) Dr. Epstein is a miracle worker!!! Our goal was for 2300 grafts and since my laxtivity area was a bit tight I was really worried about the scar and amount of hairs that where going to come out of the donor area. Well when Dr. Epstein was done with the procedure witch took about 7 hours he walked over to me with the biggest smile on his face and said incredible A+ Surgery!!! I was like wow and why??? He said we got 2953 grafts with great density!!! When the time came for me to leave his office after the procedure, I knew that the procedure was going to cost more than anticipated since I got 653 extra grafts. Dr. Epstein walked into the room I was in and told me great surgery and you will be a happy man with the work. He then said with a big smile on his face The extra grafts are on the house. I was a bit shocked and was like doc you are the man. I was so happy and thankful for this mans overall goodness in heart and generosity I went to the local shopping plaza and bought him and his incredible staff gifts.Dr. Epstein is a huge Giants fan and since im from Boston than you can assume I am a huge New England Patriots fan!!! It was great to talk about sports and a little chivelry rivery all in good taste. If any guys consider him for an Ht I would highly recommend him and ask him about great restraunts in the area because that is another common area we both shared!! Not expensive,but great food at great prices!!! here are my pics after surgery,there was a little oozing from the incisions but that will heal with the extra antibiotics he gave me with the care package for after surgery healing products. It seems I cant post pics on this so look at my web-blog and you will see all my pics from post op!!!

more hair how many grafts did you get and what was your hair count????

I did not ask, because I was just to happy and pleased. I will be talking to him soon again and I will get that number.

A number 3 is right there actually. I did do the fade for awhile and maybe go back to that style. That was a cool style !!! fade it man

here is my other concern. The meds are going great for me and really coming in strong on my frontal area. If I was to wait maybe I could get my real hairs back in alot of areas on the front, I wish I knew more about the meds a year ago!!! Plus the doc will be placing grafts in btween alot of native hairs that could possibly grow back Great

scar is definitely my big concern, this is where its at my brothers.

Yeah maybe I should of just paid with a credit card,but since I am in sales and those bonus checks come in. I thought lets just make believe we never got them and send them out to the doc right away so I dont spend it and no credit debt !!!!

I sent certified funds because I told the Doc I would pay him cash and I did not want to walk on a flight with $8k cash. I thought that when the doc said 2400 grafts that was easy since I saw so many guys getting alot more megga sessions. Then I started looking up laxtivity 40 days prior to my surgery and I jumped the gun man

yes im a virgin scalp with no surgeries. I did talk to the doc about the laxtivity about a month ago, he was pretty confident that he would do what was best for me. I guess I am a bit nervous but my donor area is tight man!! If it was loose as a goose then we would flying high!!!

notgoingbald Question again??? I sent the doc a check for the 2400 grafts in full,if he does less I would hope he would refund me.. Since I pre-paid him in advance.

I also started the proscar and minox 2 months ago and I have noticed great results on the crown and the frontal area. Dr. Epstein is working on the frontal area and I am hoping that the crown will be full with the meds. So another reason to wait to see how the meds work. But it is 2 days till my surgery and I did send him a check for the procedure in full. If I was to cancel and wait a little longer do you think the doc would be pissed. I understand its still my money and that I would have dr. epstein hold it for 6 months until I was ready. I was even thinking going fue if the meds work really good in 6 months with no strip scar...

Can anyone give me any advice??? I hated the scalp exercises and I found out a little late on the scalp exercises. I only had 30 days to do the exercises and from reading others blogs on the sight it seemed alot of guys where doing them for like 6 months prior to surgery day. So I was like whats 3o days going to really do for a great donor scar,plus i hated doing it!!!! Dr. Epstein gave me a great rate for 2400 grafts if I was to fly down to Miami in February of this year (I guess this is the slow time in Ht surgeries). This is my 1st HT and now I am wondering if I should of waited a little longer to do the scalp exercises before my 1st Ht.. I do have a tight donor area and I am very concerned about the scar. I was even thinking of doing a combo with a fut and fue if this was better for a smaller scar. If any one is out there that has had the same type of situation I would love to hear from you. I also like to wear my hair short with a crew cut style and I just dont want that scar to show up.. I am leaving in the morning to Miami and I guess only the guys who read this tonight will be able to respond since I dont have a computer from my Hotel Room.

Brianh Where are you? You started this topic and I am curious if you did have a ht and which doctor did your work?????? If I had a bad experience I would post the mans name,so the caveat emptor was warned.
