Do your grafts still grow? I also had a transplant 1 month ago. I had very little shedding. But now my grafts seem to stop growing. They donβt grow and still havenβt shed. Not sure what they are doing

wow itβs hard to believe you are heading to NW6. You donβt need to lower the hairline, it looks great. Save the grafts for later.

Doesn't look like a botch job at all. Can you post pre-op photos?
-
wow, looks great for 5 months

Wow, looking at the donor before surgery itβs unbelievable that he can harvest 12k grafts!
Donβt average people have about 7k-8k donor grafts?
-
Amazing coverage for 2.5k grafts!
Do you have more post op photos?

I donβt see any issue with your hairline. Looks great!

Thank you guys for the reassurance! I was worried because I read that trauma to the grafts should be avoided for months, for example heading the ball in soccer should be avoided. So the trauma still does something to the grafts?

looks good! do you have more post op photos?

Hi everyone!
Today I bumped my head into a metal bar, not very hard but I still feel the pain. It's the frontal area of my head where I have transplanted hairs. I don't see any bleeding. What is the chance of damaging my grafts due to direct trauma 19 days post op?
Many thanks!

the density 10 days post op looks pretty good so perhaps you just need some more time.
I just had my surgery 2.5 weeks ago so canβt comment on the stiffness.

density looks pretty good to me

Amazing, congrats! You are lucky to have 11k donor grafts.

looks like your donor is still pretty dense

Is this necessarily a good sign or promising sign that your grafts have taken and have survived the surgical process and will come in later post shed? Or is this rather just a common thing and has no relation to whether or not that these grafts have survived?
I am wondering the same thing. Does growth before shedding mean the grafts have survived?

Hi everyone, I had a hair transplant 15 days ago. There was hardly any pain the first few days. I was very gentle with the new grafts during hair wash for the first few days.
But on day 9 when I started rubbing the area a little more to get the scabs off, I felt pain in a small area when I touched the grafts there. There was no blood visible to me, or it may had been rinsed away by the water. Until today I still feel the pain when I touch that area during hair wash. It's a pretty minor pain, but I am worried if I have damaged my grafts during rubbing, causing the pain. Is it common to feel the pain when you touch the transplanted grafts and how long it takes to go away? Thank you!

Looks great! How many grafts do you think he needs for the crown?

Hi everyone! I had my transplant for the hairline area 13 days ago. I was around NW2.5.Β
I just noticed that my crown and mid scalp look thinner than before. The area was untouched during the surgery though. I am wondering if shock loss can happen in the untouched area, or I am I just going bald there? In the latter case I would have to prepare myself for another transplant.

yesterday I massaged them in circular motion with the pads of my fingers and scabs start to come off. But I noticed some small hairs with white cylinder around them falling out. I am 10 days post op. Is it possible to shed that early, or I lost those grafts due to the rubbing?
-
Can anyone elaborate how to tell if it is just shedding or lost grafts?

interested to know too

does the regular extra virgin olive cooking oil work, or should I buy special olive oil for hair?

I am on day 10 and scabs are also not coming off. Please update me know how you get them off.

Problem is that you can't keep coming back for more HTs, your donor supply is limited. Just be careful with planning, be conservative, lower your expectation then you should be fine without meds.
