  1. No reply from Dr. Nader, no reply from Clinica DrEO in Mexico City, I sent both photos via their online form and also followed up with DrEO via Google Maps messages since they seem to be active there and... nothing. I don't understand, and I actually find it a bit funny that they don't have a better method for catching leads. They must not be in great need for clients 😅
  2. Hello, did you end up going with Dr Orozco? (DrEO) -- I'm currently doing research to find a new doctor/clinic and run into them as well. I couldn't find much info in the forums and I don't really pay attention to the Google reviews, however, after searching a bit more I found a bunch of videos from famous artists in Mexico that did their procedure with them. Just for the record (and other people doing research in the future about Dr. Orozco) here is a video of one of their clients from day 1 to 6 months+ progress: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=774262440879060 I'd still be interested to hear your opinion @senororange
  3. Definitely. I'm reading a lot of good things about Dr. Nader and I will reach out soon. Thanks!
  4. Definitely! I'm actually actively looking for options right now. I'm ready for a refill haha
  5. Hello everyone! This is my hair transplant experience at Hair Medical Restoration in Tijuana. I'll try to be brief, but if I can provide more information, feel free to contact me privately. My transplant date was December 2021, and I received 3000 grafts via FUE. The staff member who picked me up and dropped me off at the train station was amazing. He was punctual, friendly, and professional. The staff at the clinic were also welcoming, friendly, and professional. When the doctor arrived, they initially suggested creating a lower hairline design, but I requested to keep the side entrances slightly high, as that is how my original hairline was. They had no problem accommodating my request. Although the process was lengthy, I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed throughout. I even fell asleep for a bit while they were extracting hair from the donor area. After the extraction, we took a break and I was given a light meal before beginning the second part of the procedure, which involved placing the grafts. The process took several hours, but I was comfortable and had no issues. After the procedure, the clinic followed up with me regularly via email, and I sent them progress photos. They informed me that everything looked good. As with other transplant patients, I experienced the shedding of my new hair and was initially nervous that it wouldn't grow back. However, I slowly regrew my hair, and I am now very pleased with the results. Conclusion: Overall, I had a great experience with Hair Medical Restoration. I loved the natural hairline design they created for me, the clinic was modern and clean, and the surrounding area was lovely and felt safe. The only con or small issue I have is that I haven't heard back from them regarding a potential second transplant, despite emailing them multiple times. That being said, I would still highly recommend them. Lastly, I have to mention the food in Tijuana. It's incredible! I had the pleasure of dining at a couple of sit down restaurants nearby and also tried some great tacos at "Tacos el franc," which was featured in Netflix's Taco Chronicles series - amazing! I would return just for the food alone. Here are some before and after photos: BEFORE AFTER (1 year and a couple of months after) -- When my hair is kept short, it looks fuller. I try to keep it as long as possible and I know it looks thinning.
  6. HMR Restoration is amazing. I had my first hair transplant there, and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the first team member picking us up, the team at the clinic, the doctor, everything was amazing. But the best part was the results. I was very worried about the hairline design, and I am absolutely in love with the results. I will post my review with photos soon. The added part: The food around was incredible, I only had two days to check around, and I would come back just to enjoy the food again
  7. Hello everyone, I am currently looking to have a second hair transplant soon for more density. I've done a lot of research, and initially, I wanted to have it done in Colombia with Bogotá Hairlines (Dr. Camacho). I saw a lot of good reviews and comments in this forum, but unfortunately, my experience was not good at all. I contacted them via WhatsApp, one of their representatives (Jhonny) replied, but he didn't seem interested or follow through with what he said. I sent photos and videos, and I was pretty much ready with cash in hand, I even looked for flights and hotels. His last response was "I'll get back to you after I hear from the doctor"... but unfortunately, I never heard back from him. So I've moved on with my search. I was searching for other possibilities, and I came across Bold Hair Restoration on TikTok, located in Monterrey, Mexico. They are very active, and even different doctors have their own accounts with related hair transplant content. They seem legit and public, which is reassuring, but I can't seem to find any reference here, which is why I'm reaching out to see if any of you had any experience with them. Any help or opinion is greatly appreciated. -- Their TikTok page for reference: tiktok.com/@boldhr.mx
