There are no scars in a human fetus, if you were to scar it, no scar would appear until the end of the 2nd trimester. If there is no scar, hair follicles should also be present. I don't know exactly how it works, probably about stem cells somehow. The YAP protein activates Engrailed-1. Engrailed-1 leads to the formation of scars. That is why it is necessary to use a YAP inhibitor such as verteporfin.

It is possible to pay more for consultation and operation to get an off-scheduled meeting. That's what it says on the website. -
Is a study available with Verteporfin on pigs? I only know the studies of mice and rabbits. I dont mean the FAK-inhibitor. If humans and pigs shows the same results further tests could be performed on pigs.
-
That is not like hairloss cure #4578. It is well known that fetuses do not form scars from injuries. The stanford papers shows a significant scar improvement in pigs and a hair regeneration of 50% with FAK inhibitors. If the first tests do not show any relevant results, it means nothing. I really hope that verteporfin can improve scars and/or hair regeneration, but it will probably be too weak. And again, it could not only be used against scarring and hair loss, but possibly also against heart muscle scarring, fibrosis of the lungs, etc.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. (Mark 11 23)

Looks great! Please add a picture from above please! -
Jesus help us, stop the suffering.

We need a rich guy who has no financial interest. Someone interested in making the world a better place. Someone who could end the suffering of millions of people. Scars and androgenetic alopecia could be improved or even cured. I would like to have my arm or leg cut open and have Verteporfin injected. I would even do it with the FAK inhibitor (VS 6063). (Of course only if a medically trained person causes the wound.) Maybe we should just naively ask some wealthy people. I'm currently a student but after that I would have no problem donating up to $2K each month. It's so sad two years known and we have almost nothing tested on humans unbelievable.

Dr. Zarev should be able to do something acceptable for a NW 6. I believe that FAK inhibitors can do something. Verteporfin should not be able for regrowth.
-
I am currently a diffuse NW 5. My father is NW 6 so I will probably end like him. I can not take Fin anymore due to side effects. If I do a transplant than in several years. Hopefully Verteporfin or the FAK inhibitors can achieve something. I was just interested how much is possible to save. Because a NW 3 status with longer hair would be enough for me. really that sounds way too much for me

Hello, can someone tell me how many Grafts an average person would need for a coverage of NW 6 to NW 3? I think the most NW 6 who did a hairtransplant end like a NW 2. But there won't be much to save, right? Maybe 1000-1500 Grafts?

You can gain some size up to approx. 15 cm but it's an expensive and painful operation. But this is better doable as a hair transplant in your case. -
Zarev mostly has bulgarian patients with good hair characteristics (curvy, probably thick, and >3 hairs per folicle). Hopefully the user mtb will also have good results with his thin hair. When I saw Zarev's results for the first time, I thought it can't be real. I am a diffuse NW 5 now, probably will end like my father (NW 6). Unfortunately I have very fine blond hair. I would be very satisfied with a dense NW 3 result. But I don't know if that's possible with thin hair.

@HugoX or the others: How would you rate the Norwood status after the operation?

@mtbHow thick is the donorhair? How large is the recipient area? -
It is amazing that so little has been tested so far. For this very promising matter. Someone with no hair loss could be tested very easily. There is no problem with a scar which is small like 1cm2. Or even someone with hair loss who would never consider a transplant would surely attend for a few bucks. Verteporfin is expensive and certainly difficult to get, but I can't imagine that some people haven't already tested it privately. Or are private reports already available?
