Repair Hairline Removal with Dr Bisanga

Thank you for your advice! I added the photo of the frontal line before the intervention in my post, I had forgotten. The removed grafts were replaced on the area with the blue circle in the image, and very, very few at the hole. I think I need a densification intervention anyway, because I have lost too much since then, and in any case I need to rebuild the frontal line. -
Repair Hairline Removal with Dr Bisanga

Yes I know he is excellent, it was after a lot of research that I chose him. Yes I'll put some closer photos after the cream leaves, we'll see nothing otherwise -
Hello forum, In the same way that you helped me, I'm writing this testimonial for those who might be in the same situation as me. As a reminder, I'm 25 years old, and I have very, very aggressive and diffuse hair loss, with thinning all over my head. I had a first operation with 2,500 grafts (maybe less, in which case they would have lied to me) in a clinic 2 years ago, but the result was bad. Contrasting density, pluggy frontal line, and grafts oriented at 90 degrees. I couldn't stay like that, so I decided to go for a repair with Dr Bisanga at BHR Clinic. Everything went really well, thanks to Lina for her support, and to the Doctor and his team for the repair. Now I just have to wait for the results. I had no pain either during or on the night of the operation, apart from the local anaesthetic, but nothing serious. 457 grafts were removed from the hairline and placed on my left temple (I don't know why they're not placed evenly across my middle, but I trust the doctor. Anyway, I'll be redensifying in 6 months or 1 year). On the other hand, i find that i have a huge forehead now, since the hair behind is also oriented vertically, what do you think ? I need to redensify as quickly as possible because it's really not pretty Here's my plan: - Extract 457 grafts from the hairline (which was done yesterday, photos attached). - If necessary, re-extract more grafts, or use a laser. - Densify the middle + hairline with 1500-2000 grafts. I know that with an aggressive loss it's risky, but what can you do? I am engaged in the process, and according to the doctor, I would have a donor area of 5000-6000 grafts left, I have a big beard, and a lot of body hair. I have also been on oral minoxidil 2.5mg per day, and finasteride 0.5mg per day for 1 year, but I have no effect. I still have a lot of hair that is getting smaller every day and the loss is not stopping. I will probably switch to dutasteride once a week, and move to 5 mg of minoxodil, 2.5 in the morning, and 2.5 in the evening. If anyone is in the same situation as me, I would appreciate your advice. I will post the progress of the healing on this thread, stay tuned.

The home stretch

Are there any examples on this forum of cases similar to mine? People wishing to densify after a plug removal. It's supposed to be a common repair, isn't it? -
Interesting discussion, Do you think there is a big difference between 2.5mg and 5mg oral minox ?

The home stretch

Thank you for your answers. But that's what I don't understand, I've seen testimonials where the scars are invisible, and for me, if there are any, they'll be camouflaged when I redensify. As far as the medication is concerned, I'd like to switch to 5mg of minxodil, but I understand that it doesn't change much compared to 2.5mg. It's a shame there's no topical dutasteride in France ... -
Hi everyone, First of all, thank you to all of you for your answers and your help, you can't imagine how much it helps. I'm writing this post to validate my latest solution to my problem, before throwing myself into the adventure. I started to have fairly aggressive diffuse hair loss from the age of 21, and at 23, I had a hair transplant of 2500 grafts ( maybe 2000) FUE, at a catastrophic clinic. The hairline is very straight, pluggy and, above all, the hair is at 90 degrees to the front. In the meantime, I've lost a lot in the middle despite taking oral minoxidil 2.5mg and oral finasteride 0.5mg for 1 year, and I'm desperate to do something about it, because I can't go out as if nothing had happened. Morever, i had oily hair after 1 day of shower, and i shed very very miniaturized hair. I was originally going to densify my hairline with 1000 grafts, but I listened to your advice and didn't do it, because for the repair to be as good as possible, I'd have to remove the hairline and then redensify the rest. I've seen several docs in Belgium, so here's my plan: - I'd like to extract the front line from 800 grafts and re-implant them in the middle. - Then redensify the whole with 2000 grafts. (middle + hairline). An expert told me that I had around 5000 grafts left in the donor area, despite the linear scars from FUE (I never shave my hair so it's invisible). I wanted to get your opinion on whether this was the right choice. To tell you the truth, I can't think of anything else, because I really have to do something. I know I'm young, but on the other hand, I might as well put in the 2,000 grafts now, than put them in 10 years' time - I've already lost quite a bit in the middle. I'll post the results of my experience to help others who are in the same situation as me. Thanks,
-
All right, thank you for your advice, you've put my mind at rest. I was quite afraid of scars. My first priority is to find a way of slowing down the fall, then I'll see about removing the 800-900 grafts. I also think it's due to sensitivity to DHT, even if the level is reduced, the folicles are probably more sensitive.
