Wow man, what a remarkable difference compared to when I saw you back in June. So happy for you!

I am typically NOT the type of person to comment, submit feedback, or share a personal journey... But I think I definitely owe it back to this community. I had a HT surgery booked with a well known hairmill in Turkey originally, because all the info I saw online turned out to be their own propaganda marketing. One week before my appointment date I stumbled upon real, unfiltered, un-cherrypicked results, where several people's lives were basically ruined by them. Thank God I caught it in time, and was able to back out, or who knows where I'd be now. This site has been such a treasure trove of information and support, which ultimately helped me choose a reputable clinic that could restore my hair and at the risk of sounding too cliché, give me a piece of my life back!

I put a little gel in my hair, about once a week, and I like to leave it in there, and only wash with water every day. Gentle, all-natural shampoo every week or two. Thank you SLA! Thank you Steve!

Month 7 update... Hair has gotten kinda long. Someone told me recently, "Man you really need a haircut", which brought me a fuzzy little warm feeling, having too much hair. Will do my first real haircut soon. A couple people have asked if I take min and fin, I still don't take either. Any questions, feel free to ask ✌️

I personally can't think of any reason someone would not want to be in the running for 'best hair transplant of 2023'. Anyone who had poor results won't get mentioned so its not like there's attention drawn to them, and if anyone is hyper-sensitive about their transplant, well, they probably didn't volunteer their journey on this forum in the first place.

No doubt all of the people mentioned here have great looking results. When I think of most incredible TRANSFORMATION tho, I immediately think of @Gatsby. I just dont know if I saw anyone else with as difficult of a starting point. He had some serious obstacles to overcome, and his hair actually looks fantastic now. @mtb and @Bandit90 as my runners up.

Hey fam, Month 6 update. I have let the donor grow a bit. Ill admit, for the first few months post HT, it was so hard for me to believe the donor would bounce back. Even though I've seen numerous cases where it did for other Eugenix patients, I just started wavering. Many of you chimed in with support and it helped. Thank you. I must say, I am pleased with how the donor has turned out, and my worrying was in vain. Eugenix knows what they're doing. See ya at mo. 7 ✌️

Thanks Melvin Thank you. If Im being honest I still can't believe that it all worked out and I actually have hair. Esp given how bald I was. First thing I do every morning when I wake up is go check the bathroom mirror and make sure it wasn't all just a dream! The only product in my hair in the photos is the gel below. From time to time I put a little sea salt spray in my hair too bc I like the rough/hard texture it gives, but I never use any fibers or anything like that. I'd rather my hair look not too dense if it means I dont have to worry on windy/rainy days. Also worth pointing out my hair was still very wet, this was fresh out of the shower, thus it's a little shinier and darker

Hey Ethan, I've been reading your recent updates and figured I'd chime in. I feel EXACTLY the same as you, after both of my HTs I wanted things as homogeneous as possible, I too despise the horseshoe effect and want to minimize it as much as possible. I know it's been said by multiple people already but I would strongly urge you to learn to fade your own hair. I personally have not had another person cut my hair in 20 years, I always do it myself. I think the longer the top is, the more guards you're using and the trickier it becomes (like Melvin's photo, or the model's fade pic you posted). But honestly, looking at the below pic, cutting this yourself would be a piece of cake. I would just cut the donor super low, to your taste (maybe a .5 guard, or no guard at all), right up to the horseshoe. Then just use the next highest guard number and sort of pull away as you cut into the longer hairs above. I have my main bathroom mirror, and then I just use a handheld mirror to see the back. During the 3 months post HT, I cut mine basically every single morning. Just my personal thoughts, before even THINKING about smp... because as you know well, the results from a 3rd HT are a year and a half away, and this could really hold you over in the meantime, giving you that same look you liked right after your barber visit. I could maybe even make a little tutorial video next time I cut mine if you were interested at all. Just a thought

Hey all, checking in for month 5 update.. Not a ton of change, other than hair being obv a little longer. Donor area is inching its way forward little by little. Might try to grow donor out a bit and see if that helps it look any fuller. See ya at month 6✌️

Thank you @Mrclean. To date I have still not taken Finasteride, or any other drugs except some biotin pills during the first few months. Idk, Im kinda on a streak and don't wanna break it 🥹

Ps, I did a really lazy fade job this time, so the donor looks worse in photos than it actually is. Other than that smiley face, I think the donor actually looks pretty decent for the amount of grafts taken..

Hey all, quick update at month 4... My donor area still has a smiley face-line in the back. I trim/fade it in a way that makes it less obvious. So far the lateral humps do look a bit better to me (one of the top motivations for me to have a round two), but the other 2 areas I just had done, midscalp and crown, I have yet to notice much improvement, they still look thin. I do recall, as most people say, my crown on round 1 really didn't mature until ~ 10/11 month mark. Can comfirm also, anagen desynchronization is a thing, my hairline area has for sure thinned out a bit when I compare with ealier photos.. I thought I'd be done after 2 trips, but I may have to address that with a 3rd next year! Assuming Eugenix says I have enough grafts left 😀.

That's what I thought after my first surgery. I didn't really have any donor shockloss then, but at month 10 I was shaving my donor with a #1 guard and I really couldn't tell anything was even done to it. My fingers are crossed for similar results in the donor this time, we'll see how it plays out!

Omg Adrian I hadn't seen your progress in the last few months, and I must say I cannot even BELIEVE the transformation! I mean, ofc I can cause you went to the best in the world, but man oh man, I wasn't expecting results like this, and you're only even halfway... Looking great brother, I am excited for you, you must be absolutely thrilled!!

She is a very kind soul, happy to have chosen her as my surgeon. Esp considering I was booked with a Turkish hairmill, and pulled that plug at the very last minute!

This is just my humble opinion: If you can easily afford Dr Sethi and you have a very challenging case, ask for him. If not, I personally would request Dr Das. I've been to her twice now, she's professional, took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, explain everything thoroughly. She's going to handle your case ethically; I felt 2200 grafts (during my last visit) was too conservative and really wanted to go BIG since I flew across the world. She could've just gratified me now and taken my money, but instead insisted on leaving some reserves for any future loss since I don't take fin. She developed the game plan, made slits, then continuously came back to the room to check the technician's progress. A couple times I had questions, asked for her, and she came promptly. Oh, and I love the hairline she designed, it looks so natural, I couldn't ask for a better one. I felt I was in good hands. She's competent, and at no time have I ever felt regret for not choosing a higher package. I realize this is sounding salesy lol, but I had such a great experience with her, and Eugenix as a whole. I was freaking completely bald, and now I have hair.

Thank you all so much, the positive words are really helpful to hear.. I've been a bit discouraged feeling like my donor area looks terrible, and time seems to drag, and the progress just seems so slow.. Will check back in at month 4, hopefully with some gains 💪
