I worry that you’re rushing into such a life-changing commitment without even settling on medication yet. What else are you currently using, and are you 100% committed to continuous daily Finasteride starting in January?

Theo Von Comedian Talks FUE Hair Transplant
Judelaw replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
You’re right, going bald or admitting a transplant would cause unthinkable amounts of hate. Nothing will ever top McConaughey selling snake oil on live TV. -
What % of docs are actually good?
Judelaw replied to Rafael Manelli's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
That’s a perfect example, Asmed spent huge money on marketing, grew way too fast, and the quality of work deteriorated. Growing too fast is the most dangerous thing for a business and I guarantee there are world-class surgeons who would cringe at the thought of a 3-year waitlist. -
What % of docs are actually good?
Judelaw replied to Rafael Manelli's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
The demand for transplants is so high that it literally doesn’t matter for elite surgeons. It’s like selling a new iPhone on eBay, you can take one picture of it on the toilet and it will sell immediately if priced $1 too cheap. What does a clinic with a constant wait list gain from hiring a team to promote results? -
Post OP day 0 - FUT 5700 grafts with Dr. Wong
Judelaw replied to MaximusEastwood's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I have thought about this as well, the scar repair industry dwarfs hair loss by comparison. -
Recommendation on the hairline

I’m glad you went with the first hairline, the work looks really clean and refined. -
My experience with finasteride, need help
Judelaw replied to DavidFrancis's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
You’re very angry bro, do you really think you’re in the correct state of mind to tell a 25 year old with a full head of hair that he should give up and go bald like you? I remember years ago people begged for someone to research and develop better topical vehicles, now that there’s a product with clinical data to back it up you’re mad that Melvin is promoting it? -
My experience with finasteride, need help
Judelaw replied to DavidFrancis's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Again that’s up to you, even before fin it was a rare occurrence for me and my hormone levels are very healthy. You talk about all of the stories scaring you which makes me think you’ve been on Reddit where guys who aren’t sexually active are convinced they have ED after a week. -
My experience with finasteride, need help
Judelaw replied to DavidFrancis's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Totally up to you bro, but please read the posts of guys telling you to quit the drug. Dude warning of “lawsuits” creates a new account asking for surgeons that will do mega sessions without finasteride then tells young guys to make the same mistake. That’s a living hell and outweighs the risk of possible decreased morning wood imo. -

Wait until you hear about ibuprofen and Flintstone vitamins. -
Dr. Khan Pekiner FUE hair transplant 3015 grafts
Judelaw replied to Mo1brag's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Outstanding result, really impressed with the results I’ve been seeing from Dr. Pekiner lately. -
There is literally no difference in the photos, 99% of non-castrated men will never have a hairline as low and straight as yours.

Recommendation on the hairline
Judelaw replied to Rock92's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I think the temple points are way too aggressive given your loss pattern. If you really want to go this route you need to start medication immediately and accept the lifelong commitment. -
Hair transplant surgeon in San Francisco Bay area
Judelaw replied to sfman's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I think your money is much better spent taking a 2 hour flight to Vancouver to see Hasson & Wong. 35 year old transplanted grafts can be hard to navigate and you want the most experienced surgeon possible. -

That looks great for a 4 guard at only 7 months. -
M36 | Dr. Bruno Pinto | 1716 grafts | 17 May 2022
Judelaw replied to Harry Bosch's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
World-class work, the way he blended those extra 200 grafts is pure artistry. I can’t imagine getting a result like this then making a lifetime commitment to hop on the juice. -
Theo Von Comedian Talks FUE Hair Transplant
Judelaw replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Much respect to Theo, he also mentioned it on Joe Rogan to tens of millions of people. I found it ironic because the ultimate truth teller Jordan Peterson went on the same podcast claiming his daughter’s steak only diet magically cured his “alopecia” when he’s clearly had multiple transplants. -
How bad is my hair loss?
Judelaw replied to amibalding123's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
It’s not bad at all but it’s textbook MPB and it will continue progressing. Please understand that without medication the goal of future transplants will likely be returning to your current baseline, not lowering the hairline to a straight NW0 like what Rafael linked. -
Donor looks immaculate, you will be able to wear the same fade as before.

These arguments have nothing to do with mainstream use of the term. The average person will never visit a hair loss forum let alone consult with a HT surgeon. As I’m typing this some balding 19 year old is out there convincing himself he’s growing into a “mature hairline” and he’ll be joining here in 5 years frantically booking a trip to Turkey.
-
I have to agree with OP, mature hairline is a really stupid term unless used in regards to surgical design. Google “mature hairline” and pretend you’re a young guy trying to convince himself medication isn’t necessary. It’s pictures of clearly balding NW2-3s and the articles treat mature hairlines and MPB as two completely different things. The 3rd search result comes from one of the biggest hair loss products in America, saying an inch of recession is totally normal and the majority of hair loss “specialists” agree that a maturing(receding) hairline is not balding.

Turkey Clinics & My hair advice
Judelaw replied to Adrian P's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Sadly I agree, this has all of the ingredients for a life-altering disaster. Aggressive loss pattern, young age, very low-budget, and unwillingness to use medication. -
Dr. Konior | FUE ~2250 grafts | 38M | May 2022

Unreal result, it looks like a year on oral minoxidil has really helped the midscalp as well.
