    I don't understand why everyone is bashing him for doing a hair transplant at this age, he was on finasteride for one year with good results and according to most studies he has a very good chance to halt any further hair loss for 10+ years.

    I have been on finasteride and minoxidil for almost 3 years and I keep seeing improvements on my temple area every year, I also intend on switching to oral minoxidil (from topical) and addone pill of dutasteride every week so I expect to see even more regrowth around the temples. Thing is, I am going to have a hair transplant next month to fill my temple area, can new hairs grow in this area from the medication and make it more dense?

    The doctor said: "It will take 500 grafts for the frontline 500 grafts for the temples point and 1000 to 1500 for the back". But I honestly believe I need at least 2800 grafts What do you think?
