    I got my transplant done in Belgium which makes it a bit more awkward since it is not common to see foreigners getting this procedure done here. Anyways, I am at the airport right now, honestly the recipient area healed pretty good and it's not that red and weird looking so I just took off the hat.

    Some times surgeons may transplant a few grafts under the hairline like here: Why is that?

    You could try 6 days finasteride 1mg + 1 day dutasteride 0.5mg

    Well since OP is not on medication currently, I'd recommend that he book with Dr. Couto and meanwhile let the medicine do it's work until the procedure. Just my 2 cents.

    Would there be any point on using minoxidil on my temples where I've had my hair transplant done? Will I still be able to regrow some new hairs over there and improve density? Or not because of limited blood supply?

    I'd say give the oral minoxidil some time first because you can see a good regrowth from it

    If I were you I'd consider taking oral minoxidil and dutasteride to maximize regrowth
