  1. I’ve been using Clobisdin as prescribed by Dr. Freitas because I to suffered from folliculitis, which he identified when my head was shaved. I’ve been applying this as prescribed, 20 days on and 20 days off and it’s helped with the issue, prevented bumps, and has reduced my redness. The medication will definitely help! Take it as he prescribes.
  2. Based on your current state, big growth days are still ahead. The next 2 months will be huge for you and thinking about your hair constantly will be something you can put behind you. Consider yourself blessed. My hairloss is more advanced than yours, so I already have a 2nd procedure lined up with Freitas for crown work and any additional areas that require more density or touch up. Freitas can’t determine that until around 9 months post op from my 1st procedure with him, but I have enough grafts still available for full coverage which is great news. I wish I was one and done because of the process we are both experiencing at the moment. It can be mentally taxing, but I’m personally focused on the end result. Looking forward to watching your progress and the mop of hair that’s to come your way. It’s coming. Happy growing my friend.
  3. You’re showing signs of serious life. Try to avoid comparing yourself to a few other Freitas success stories on here. You’re progressing well and you can expect more and more growth in the weeks and months ahead. I’m also a Freitas patient myself. I just hit 3 months last Friday so you’re a month ahead of me. My progress looks very similar to your current state. I’ve looked at every Freitas patient on here and a lot of magic tends to happen between month 4-6. Some early bloomers out there for sure, but stay positive brother. Are you taking and staying consistent with the medication Freitas prescribed?
  4. This post gave me all the reassurance in the world that I picked the right doctor. I had my procedure with Dr. Freitas 11 days ago and I showed him your hairline as a basis to what I was looking for. Although I am a more advanced Norwood, he delivered a hairline for me that is natural, while preserving grafts for my crown via a 2nd procedure. I had roughly 3,090 grafts and can confirm your write up regarding your experience from start to finish is literally spot on. It was an incredible experience for a procedure that can be nerve-wracking for so many. My hairline immediately post op and a few weeks out look very similar to yours. I’m so excited to see this play out over the next several months after watching your progress. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, while putting the amazing work of Dr. Freitas out there for those looking to change their life for the better!
  5. Keep us posted on your progress. I’ll be seeing Freitas myself in January 2024. It’s a 15 month wait but excited considering the amazing work and results I’ve seen from him. My hairloss is more extreme than yours so I plan on budgeting for 2 procedures over the next 2 years. His hairline work looks pristine. You’re going to be thrilled with the results. Question - I work remote but I am on camera constantly. Will I be presentable after 2 weeks? That’s the maximum time I can take off from work. Concerned I’ll look awful..
  6. What Spanish forums? I’m new to these forums so where can I find Dr. Freitas patient reviews? What’s the name of the forum?
  7. I appreciate this feedback. It’s comments like this that steer people like me in the right direction, even when they are super antsy to get the procedure done. Is Dr. Freitas or H&W doctors you would wait 1+ year for? Once I know Dr. Freitas’ wait time, I’ll let you guys know. Thanks again for the advice.
  8. I’m starting to realize this. Waiting on Dr. Freitas to get back to me currently. There is a 2 month wait before he reviews your information. I’m hoping he can help with some crown thinning as well. I still have hair in the center (forelock) and mid scalp. Just need work done on the corners and crown. Trying to maximize what can be done safely in 1 trip. I live in the US.
  9. I’m currently waiting on Dr. Freitas and his team to get back to me after completing the online consult form. Hoping his wait time isn’t a year. There aren’t enough reviews on him that I can find from actual patients but his work looks incredible. I plan on documenting my entire HT experience and sharing on YouTube if I choose him. Please continue to share your results! Amazing!
  10. I am also considering Dr. Freitas. Is he superior to Hasson & Wong? I need roughly around 4,000-4,400 grafts personally and I don’t see Freitas doing that consistently like H&W in a single session. I need more than 3,000 grafts, but Freitas and his hairline work have me super interested.
  11. What doctor would everyone recommend for a NW3/4 patient? 1. Hasson & Wong 2. Dr. Juan Cuoto 3. Dr. Rafael Freitas Right now, I’m leaning on Hasson & Wong given the amount of grafts they can extract in a single session safely. The waiting list is also important since Cuoto has the longest. Hasson & Wong and Dr. Freitas are roughly about the same.
  12. The more I research this forum the more I’m convinced Dr. Hasson is who I need to go with. My only concern is their communication right now is not great. I did the online consult, but answers to my questions take almost 2 weeks. I even reached out to Christina to schedule the procedure and haven’t heard back. It’s been a week. Is this normal with them?
  13. Seeing this result gives me confidence Hasson & Wong should be the clinic I do my HT with. I’m currently in the process of gathering information and pricing from them. They are not cost effective, but I imagine you get what you pay for here!
  14. I just joined this forum as I’m in the process of scheduling my first HT for early next year. Since I was 20 years old, I have thought about nothing other than my hair thinning. I pray a HT will help me stop: - Avoiding any activities that require my head getting wet and thus revealing my rapidly thinning hair and scalp - Applying fibers. A piece of soul exits my body with every dap of the can. It’s awful. - Not being able to style my hair the way I want. Spending 30 minutes to tactically style my hair to conceal my balding. Result is a goofy hair style and I’m not fooling anyone. - I look forward to not having to worry about working out and sweating, and how awful my hairline looks to me and others. Not a day goes by this doesn’t cross my mind and I look forward to hopefully putting this behind me. This post hit home for me.
