I have tried pulling off the idea of HT but when the date comes nearby, i feel scared as in what if they over harvest my donor, what if I develop an infection, what if hairline is pluggy....even Eugenix is giving bad results nowadays. So I am not sure what to do. Meds are so slow with growth and might not bring back my hairline. With systems, its easy to take it off if I dont like. However, if I like and keep wearing them, i feel that the glue might mess up with my native hair and hair loss will speed up. Sorry, still in two minds but definitely gotta do something for this norwood 3V hair loss.

Thank you. Yes i am on meds. Started couple of months back only. 0.5mg fin and 1ml topical minoxidil. Crown has filled in slightly within a couple of months. I think i will go for hair transplant for front only then.

Thank you buddy.

My hairline planning and designing will be done by dr. Arika.

Do I need hair transplant or can the min/fin/micron fix this?
Vaibhav27 replied to Vaibhav27's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
No no. This isn't true. I am on meds both min and fin. 0.5mg fin daily and topical min 5% once or twice a day. I have got crown regrowth but not hairline improvement yet. -

February 17-18 at Eugenix. But now I am rethinking if I should just go for meds only along with dermaroller since results wont come by November. -

Actually, i dont have that much time coz i have my wedding in November. So need a proven fix by then. If fin min wont fix it by then, i wont have time for HT. -

Interestingly, Dr Arika also said the same when I showed this to her a year back. My crown is actually getting filled with min and fin. But hairline is not getting helped much. -
I have frontal hairloss and crown hairloss. Should I go for two systems: one for frontal receding hairline and one for crown? Or let go of my top of my head hair and get a full system? Thanks.

Hi team. I am scheduled for my transplant in 2 weeks with dr. Vinita at Eugenix. I opted for rs. 75/graft package. Is she a good doctor? Or should I opt for 120rs package and go for either dr. Somesh or dr. Das? I havent seen many of her results anywhere. Thanks.

Eugenix | Dr. Vinita | 2730 grafts | 6th - 7th June 2023

@MildSeven great results so far. -
I think you went too conservative too. Instead of U shaped, you could have M shape hairline. But fingers crossed, you might get pretty good coverage.

Eugenix quoted me 3200-3300 grafts over 2 days surgeries. Yes, i have consulted other doctors and also have had some regrowth using PRP but nothing to the point where I would be satisfied with my look. I also have tried finasteride 1mg last year for 10 days and had terrible side effects such as suicidal thoughts, sexual side effects, brain fog etc. Then i tried taking it this week as well with 0.25mg and had some slightly watery semen and randomly ball aches. So i hopped on to topical finasteride and minoxidil now. Not sure how to go the oral route.

Thank you. Good observation. Even i have noticed it. I live half a mile away from Eugenix clinic in India and went for a consultation few months back with dr. arika. She asked me to take finasteride for the crown and grown long hairs for front to hide the receding hairline. If not, then go for hair transplant. One thing that put me off was that her consultation was so expensive(2000rs) compared to other doctors here in India and she literally talked for like 2 mins and then went outside. Then the conversation was taken over by medical counselor.
