Yeah it works wonders. I actually use minoxidil straight after lol Even though its not advisible but haven’t gotten any problems from it

probably is more potent that way because all the channels are open .i think the reason they dont want people to use minoxidil right after because it will be more painful but if you can endure it and dont get any scalp irirtation you should be fine. i assume you microneedle the recipient. if yes when did you start that area>

most top surgeons have at least 1 or 2 per day, so it is not the "standard" quantity.

I have never seen a clinic doing LESS being negative, but it might indicate that they don't have much bussiness, which makes you think why?

they might be involved in other type of cosmetic surgeries and only do hair on the side. i would definately stay away from this place.

  3. if it works for you, keep doing it. i used 1.5 mm at the beginning but it was painful not so much in the back of the head but mid scalp and frontal section where the skin is thinner. i switched to 1 mm. there is no need to go so deep. all you have to do is stimulate the scalp. 24 hours later i use a mix of 50 ml alpecin forte tonic plus 2 ml 5% minoxidil  in a spray bottle  and massage it into the scalp. it really helps with blood circulation that you can feel immediately and very tense, i love it. i dont see a single hair in the drain and the hair is getting denser. i have been doing this almost one year.

  4. that is some crazy good improvement. now all you have to do is stay on top of that new hair . besides the meds maybe incorporate a a daily head massage, microneedling at least 2x/month and monitor the shedding. even though you were very young when you had your hair transplant. i think he made the right choice to get the hair transplant early as he did, as long as he follows a consistent hair protocol and monitors the shedding afterwards. good luck !

  5. some like microneedling others don't. i have personally used microneedling  every second week 1 mm depth using dr pen #8 in conjunction with a mix of ( 2 ml minoxidil 5% plus 55ml alpecin forte tonic in a spray bottle) on the  day after. alpecin forte is a great vasodialator and you can notice immediately how the blood is circulating in your scalp after use.  i  definately have seen improved hair quality and less fall out of hairs. using a mix of alpecin forte tonic with minoxidil does not leave your hair greasy after use.  i still use it every day.

Transplanted hair can indeed have a different texture from native hair. Even if it just a subtle difference, it can be there. Sometimes its kinky at first but as it matures will get straighter, but many times the new texture is permanent. Also keep in mind that your donor hair texture may not match their native recipient hair. Someone can have wavy or curly donor hair and very straight hairline hair. Another cause could be that the graft is badly angled, it can give it a curly or kinky appearance.

Please keep in mind that there are numerous cases of even the world's elite doctors giving curly or frazzled hair.

There was a Bisanga review on here recently where the guy always had straight hair, he went to Bisanga and his transplant hair was all curly. I guess the hair transplant was perfect except for the curly hair, but the guy said he doesnt mind and even likes it.

So consider that a permanent difference in hair texture is always a potential side effect/risk, regardless of who you go to.

did the curly hair look like bisanga's...... just kidding

Honestly @bear56 I haven't thought that much about what type of confidence I might be lacking in this case. I think that a lot of it is about myself and the fact that I want to look good for myself (when looking at myself in the mirror), but of course this is not the only explanation. To be confirmed from others is also a factor that makes a HT more interesting for me.

your question was a very good one and so were all the answers you received. the 3 different confidence  categories are only to help you to narrow it down . ultimately you want to fall into the faith based category. there is nothing wrong with wanting to look good for yourself. i think most of us do. the 3 categories merely point out that confidence does not just result from the physical (body) but also through the development of the mind and spirit. a hair transplant might as a side effect boost your confidence and it probably will but is not the end of it all.

  8. what confidence are we talking about?  quote... there are 3 types of confidence. 1 . self centered confidence- or cockiness. we all know the persons that walks around like everything revolves around him because they have the perfect body or hair and when they don't get affirmation they suffer quietly. 2. perfection seeking confidence-  people who think that if they perform good in all areas of life then they will be confident but if one area lacks  it will be their  downfall 3. faith based confidence-  the true confidence) it is not dependent on outside forces but rather accepting the idea that tomorrow can be better than today and you get there even if you don't succeed at first but you continue trying ( like a mishap ht)

so its best to ask yourself first the question why you want to go ahead with a ht and the answer will be in front of you.

Of course. Some cases, due to their complexity or level of alopecia, are considered in two or more interventions, to work different areas or even increase density in areas that due to their dimension it is better to restore in two steps.
Here is an example that is published in this forum:

thank you for your answer. just one more question. when we see fantastic patient cases from your clinic of patients who got away with only one hair transplant. what would you say are the important "qualifiers" that most people would not know, to make it possible for them and your office procedure to achieve those results.

The result of a hair transplant can be observed 12 months after the surgery. For this reason, the last revision consultation our patients have is 12 months after the surgery.
If any patient has any specific needs or doubts, he/she can continue to attend check-ups, otherwise it will no longer be necessary.

sorry i misread your comments as "revise " (touch up) to the new hair transplant. but since we are on the subject matter. i see that most of your patient case outcome shows good density. do any of your patients after 12 months opt to do additional density work. judging from the pictures they look like one surgery alone was all that they needed.

Thank you very much for your inquiry.
We believe that all our results are worth sharing, regardless of the year to which they correspond. We believe that they may inspire or interest people who suffer from a similar degree of alopecia or have a hair type like the one presented.
On the other hand, there may be users of this forum who do not know our YouTube channel and by sharing the case here they can reach it.
On the other hand, regarding updates, we accompany our patients during the twelve months after surgery. After the 12 months, unless they have some punctual need, revisions are no longer mandatory, so our record goes up to one year.
Finally, I consider that a result has value in its quality, in the complexity overcome and in the work done, regardless of the date from which it dates.
    Best regards.

what do you mean by revisions are no longer necessary?

  12. sofar i think you still got a good head of hair. i would first exhaust all the first line of defense like finasteride  maybe have your doctor put you on a stronger medication like dutasteride or add minoxidil to the regiment.  prp  needs to be done on a monthly basis. you said you did it in may so you should have done it june, july maybe even more to get the benefit. it takes around 3-4 months to see any result with prp.  a transplant is not going to stop your hair loss. you must first have that under control with the meds, prp, massage, micro needling and dont put any harsh chemicals on your hair including regulat shampoo or hair dye. use a shampoo that has ph balance and contains a dht blocker like nizoral.  once you have the shedding under control then you can think about a hair transplant. i have been a client of dr bicer. she is an excellent ht doctor and pretty much the only choice in turkey.
