It depends where you live. What country are you based in? If UK, OxfordOnlinePharmacy

Ahhhh ok I see! Thanks for clarifying guys 😀

Hi,
I’ve seen doctors do this, but isn’t there an increased risk that the next day upon removing the bandages, the grafts are dislodged, especially if there has been bleeding overnight and the blood has dried and scabbed against the bandage?

“I also need to pick up oral minox (5mg), fin (5 days a week), dut (2 days a week) according to the doctor. Also ketoconaczole for my dermatitis. Seems like the clinic is trying to nuke my DHT levels to that of a prepubescent girls. I'm not sure I want to take oral minox though but the doctor strongly recommended it.“
Has anyone with any experience with this doctor got any idea why his medication proposal is so elaborate?

I don't know if anyone else contacted his office. I emailed them and talked to them on WhatsApp. There is not even time slot for video consultation recently. I don't know how anyone made appointment with them. I was trying to reach out to them. No luck. Anyone else contacted them recently?
I’m at the same position as you - awaiting a slot for a video consult.

@Melvin- Moderator thanks for the link.
@Digs49 hey, thanks for replying. I see! I didn’t realise he had a clinic in Vitoria! There aren’t any direct flights there for me so I’d have to change in Rio, but that’s ok. If it’s in Linhares, would that be of the clinic’s choosing or the patients? And when you say the clinic would take care of you, do you mean the clinic would collect you from Vitoria?
Thanks so much.

Hey guys,
so, Dr Felipe Pittella seems like a really skilled surgeon and his activity on social media makes him seem like a really nice guy too. There’s just one issue. Getting to his clinic. I’m pretty sure there isn’t even an airport in his city (Linhares).
Eager to hear from anyone who travelled to his clinic from Europe and how not to make this a total ball ache. Any tips? Thanks guys!

But we’re talking about more than a 100% increase here. No country is experiencing that.
Anyway, he’s obviously free to do what he wants. Hopefully the market will correct and he’ll experience a drop off in demand and re-adjust his prices to get customers back.

@Mat16 I agree with what others are saying - you have great hair! Stick with the meds and give it time. Especially if you’re a student and money is tight. What is Freitas charging for you?
-
Gosh this doc charging €11 per graft must be having a laugh
-
What kind of levels are docs charging now?
I know it’s a difficult question, but I think it’s handy to have a perspective as to whether the prides you’re quoted are comparable with the general market rate. I’m thinking if people like Lorenzo, Bisanga etc etc

Hey guys, hope you’re all doing well.
A few years back (around 2018) I got some quotes from some reputable doctors who are much respected in this forum of around €4 - €6 per graft.
Now, admittedly from different doctors but in my opinion less respected ones, are quoting €11 per graft. So I get it, 5 years have passed and we have global inflation, but is €11 per graft a norm now (say on average, obviously I know some doctors will charge more)?

I’m really confused with this post, which images are pre and which are post? Also the timings, decimal places for months??? So 5.4 months is 5 months and 12.4 days?!

I don,t know for sure what each one does. I know that in my transplant, dr. Felipe Pittella did the extractions and pré incissions.
He also did the surgical markings lest day.
Thanks for your response. Does anyone else think this is a little strange? Isn’t it normally the case that the techs do the extractions and the doc implants?

Pre & post surgery: oral minoxidil
in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Posted
Hi everyone,
what have people been told (or learnt independently) about how many days pre-HT you should stop oral minoxidil and then how many days post-HT you can get back on it?
Thanks!
