  2. Thanks AAron! Can u please estimate the no. of grafts I will need? Also plz suggest at what density and how to cover them on my scalp.
  3. Here is the back. Can u guys estimate the minimum no. of grafts I should go for? I keep my hair v short at sides and back ((almost buzz cut at sides), so i think I wont need much density. Please suggest.
  4. Raphael84, Go thru this article - an interesting read... http://www.bernsteinmedical.co...les-Densitometry.php
  5. Hey Guys, I see that I have a good donor hair density(TOUCHWOOD!). Is there a way that I can determine (before my HT) if this is so because of more grafts/sqcm or becoz of more number of hair follicules having multiple hairs? Also I would like to know if there is a relation between the two? Thanks!
  6. Hi All, Is it logical to have my 1st HT in hairline and some of crown from behind and leaving mid scalp HT free. I comb my front hair backword and my hair back at crown is combed forward to hide the mid scalp. (I also have some of my native hair at mid scalp). Please let me know if it is feasibile and can be a good approach. Thanks!
  7. Well, if u can afford it, approach the more experienced hands....experience always helps!! Honestly, this is a general opinion when u are comparing any two docs
  8. Thanks Maxxy! Actually I am in the process of loosing weight these days, so just felt should postpone it till the time of surgery if it really matters. Wot u suggest? Thanks!
  9. Hi All, Is there a relation between body weight and scalp laxity - I mean if I gain some pounds by the time of my surgery, will that help in increasing the laxity? Thanks!
  10. Thanks Janna! I was looking at Bill's album just before his HT4 when he shaved his head in the clinic. It seems to me that the skin in the recipient site is a bit reddish- check out the top and 45 degree tilt views. Here is the link! http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...opyID=3245&WebID=372 This made me curious to ask this question, probably the redness is due to the razor
  11. Hi Guys, I am curious to know if I will have any redness/scars or any difference in the recipient skin after a long time from a HT - ofcourse if I shave my head completely.
  12. Hey Guys, I just registered on this forum but have been following it from last one year. After reading all good comments about Dr. Madhu here, I am sorry, I have specially registered to be a spoil spot Well, I visited his clinic twice in the last few days and am not satisfied with his dealings and consultation. The doctor doesnt talk openly and this makes me feel something is missing. I attended his training session - most of the patients there were for hair loss treatment and NOT for a HT. I myself consulted him for my HT. It was a short consultation and the doctor drew a hairline and estimated my total grafts - 7000 he said in 2 HTs. However I wanted to discuss a strategy, a way out -where and how to place my grafts for the best results according to my hair density and characteristics - he never did that. I admit his results look good in the pictures here, but there have to be so many other things to get a recommendation. I feel going to him for a HT right now will be llike experimenting with myself, so have decided to go abroad. Hope ir helps.
