  1. Correct me if i am wrong, but i have seen an excellent couple of NW7 cases with similar difficulties of @Dr. Felipe Pittella and the results were amazing. So for highly skilled surgeons and team, i think it would be feasible.
  2. Wow. If i was the jealous type i would be. Instead im happy for my fellow brother from the Norwood family tree. Lifechanging stuff! Made my morning!
  3. Yes, i have seen a couple studies about oral fin having some negative effect on kidney function, A lot of people jump on these meds without thinking about if anything else in the body would be affected negatively by this. Hope people do a lot of research before considering taking them.
  4. So i want to start taking topical fin + min. I am a completely heatlthy guy (thank god) and my concern is if these meds has a negative effect on the kidneys. On the maternal side there is a history of kidney disease. My question is, does fin/min in topical/oral form affect the kidneys?
  5. I can not imagine how many people that has gone to these type of clinics and gotten a bad result, which later might have resulted in suicide, or at least serious impact on life quality and mental health that we dont know about.
  6. @Melvin- Moderator suscpicious post here. Might wanna remove it?
  7. I would consider Dr Pitella in my top 3 list of surgeons based on his results with difficult cases and his stance on prescribing finasteride. When i joined this forum a few months ago, his patients' results blew me away. He was the first surgeon that gave me hope as a NW6/7. His status on the forum should be changed to "certified norwood slayer" lol. He has my vote.
  8. I found this page. I read quickly through it and it didnt say that you need an add-on. Here you go: https://www.howtogeek.com/359033/how-to-enable-dark-mode-in-firefox/
  9. Of the research i have done some say that you can wear a hat or cap about 2 weeks after. Im in the process of creating a "baseball cap" that does not touch your scalp and at the same time protect those precious and expensive grafts against bumping into objects, scratching your head accidentally and against the sun's UV rays. You can wear this directly after transplant. Its also good If you dont feel comfortable walking in crowded places with a fully visible head after ht 😁
  10. This is a worry of mine too. Its hard to imagine not working out for a few weeks. Just the thought of it is stressing me out lol
  11. Yes I have thought about it and looked into it a little bit. But imo its more of a final touch rather than replacing something. Also im a bit worried about if the color is toxic. The thing you saw was a shadow. Never had a transplant before. I am completely aware of me not being an ideal candidate and I honestly dont have high expectations on a baseline level. But when I pay a premium price at a clinic who has expertize in highl level norwoods, my expectations rise as im trusting The skills and experience of the surgeon. However i have seen some excellent results from surgeons here so thats also why i am optimistic. I would be ok with a little bit higher hairline than what I want but I would rather skip a surgery if it meant it would start at front midscalp. 🤣
  12. A personal trainer once said that its really good to regularly train your glutes and legs as it can boost your testo levels a lot compared to training them only once a week or less. I am specifically talking about gym training. The glutes are the biggest muscle in our bodies so it makes sense that it will boost your testo levels more if you train it. Im not an expert on this but it comes from a legit source.
  13. Well, i litterally got nothing to lose 😂 Thank you very much. I really appreciate all the info from the community, I very rarely get emotional, but the amount of support that is shown here is incredible. I agree with you. But i believe lowering the hairline is mandatory as i dont want the Jamie Foxx pre transplant hairline. True true. I am using a concealer and have been using it for many years. Now that my hairloss has been stabilized, i feel that im ready to do something about it. Thank you,
  14. The plan is to use 3k or more in the frontal/mid section. Going for the crown in a second procedure using beard grafts as well. I dont expect great density, more like average density. As long i have to worry about getting a haircut im good 😃
  15. That was my question too. 3k or a bit more to get full density in the frontal/mid region does not sound realistic imo. However i would not like to have a hairline that starts at my midscalp. 😂 Then you would probably notice my forehead all the way from the international space station 😛 I really hope so. Yes i have high sides but according to the majority of clinics i have been in contact with, i have a limited donor area even though i never had a transplant before. Yes my beard is very thick and strong. I uploaded some pics of my beard here:
  16. Hello, so I have been quoted a little over 3000 grafts to get full density to my frontline and midscalp wich raised a big question mark in my mind. I want my hairline to be close to my mole on the forehead. Is this possible?
  17. I agree with @NARMAK. My understanding is that getting a ht is not frowned upon anymore. Maybe because other cosmetic surgeries are accepted (lips, chest, buttocks etc) ? I think the same way as @NARMAK. Im not the type of guy who likes to go public with my soon to come ht, but im very open with others who are experiencing the same issue, The Bald Brotherhood. But it seems like a fun idea. People can choose wether they wanna do a video or send pics. And if someone want to do a video but dont reveal their face, they can blurr it out or put a mask on
  18. So how does the less known or unknown clinics get customers? There are so many but there are relatively few that are well known and some who are infamous. But the rest, how do they get customers?
  19. Alrighty then, ill be in touch.
  20. Also I am avoiding finasteride as it could have negative effects on renal function according to studies on mice. Since several of my relatives has a history of renal disease i want to use precaution.
