  1. 🤗Thank you. looking at it from two sides: I am pretty happy to have a great amount of hair back, put off that hat without feeling bald is a big relief. On the other side, nobody chooses to get bald in a extreme young age, being a Norwood 5 with 25years old is really not that common, working for that 20k USD was really hard and I had never money for something I’d like to buy. All in all I am still a little traumatised and trying to recover.
  2. Thank you! First surgery was all over the head, in the second one, crown and hairline were filled up (each with 30 grafts per cm/2). I am in contact with hlc for my last transplant focusing on the midscalp. They told me I still have 2500ish Grafts left, hope to get away with less.
  3. Thank you for that insight, I felt, I was always aware of that "illusion of density" thing, knowing I have to keep my hair long and put a little effort in Styling. In 2020, so one year after my FUT with 5200 Grafts, I was over the moon, unhappy with the hairline but still a massive improvement. For sure it lacks of density but with about 10cm of length things really looked fine. I just moved into a new appartment, where is no window in the bathroom, like before... Instead there is a neon tube 10cm over my head, mounted to the wall. Looking in that mirror now, is no joy, just a feeling of being defeated by the norwood reaper after spending so much time and money into that project.
  4. Thank you, I hope you will be rewared with the result you are searching for! SMP is a thing I am thinking of, but as you said, on blond hair.... I am planning my last hair transplant, with about 1000- 1500 FUEs in the shine trough area + BHT test, after that I will call it a day. It can really look pretty good! but I get a little traumatized by light conditions
  5. Added a before picture, so everybody can see, what I am dealing with 🙂 I know that illusion of density is a thing. I am just wondering, how you guys deal with the differernt lightning conditions ? Wearing a hat all the time worrying, I look complete bald if the sun shines in a different angle was not the inital plan 🙂
  6. So basically, I was a Norwood 5a and spent over 20k USD for Hairtransplants (7800 Grafts) with reputable doctors (Hattingen Hair and HLC). I made two shots today, one in harsh bath light and the other one indoor with light from the window. Do you guys have the same expirience? It really drives me nuts....
  7. Well this is a harsh insinuation, do you have any proof that it is not equaly effective?
  8. I had a FUT Megasession with 5200 Grafts, I saw nearly no growth until the 6th month mark. Now, after 2600 FUE in the second session, I saw much faster growth and could say, it is already 90% at 5 month mark.
  9. It is never 100% predictable, but anamnesis in combination with your age and degree of loss is a reference point. Still nobody can guarantee.
  10. At this point, I wouldn’t say it is 100 percent over-harvesting. You had a strip procedure and in my opinion the blood flow around that area is not was it used to be, but the donor should recover. The after care you described is a catastrophe indeed! If it comes down to Eugenix, I was never impressed by their over-all work and also their package system is very confusing to me.
  11. Thank you, in 2020, one year after my first hair transplant I felt pretty pleased. Since I am on hormones (which I started directly after my second transplant) I feel more and more sad. hopefully this feeling will subside as my hair grows longer.
  12. Thank y'all for your opinions! I think I will grow my hair out now and stop thinking about hair transplants. There is just one source of pain right now, that's my beard, I want it to vanish! But have the feeling that electrolysis removal would really be a waste of grafs. I really don't care about a very high growth rate, but I feel it is very important, to not damage any surrounding grafts. Would it be risky to transplant this beard hair to the top ?
  13. Thank you so much! About lowering the Hairline: I have tought about it a lot, a feminine hairline would be outstanding! But I don't think I can ever reach that goal as a NW5, so I'would rather wear a hiding hair cut, but increase the density everywhere else. Would you mind to draw in on the picture, where the corners could use a little more grafts? Maybe this is just because of I am just 5 months in? 😃
  14. Thank you, for your answer, do you think that 2500 additional grafts can in mid scalp and crown, could have a visual impace or is it some kind of "wasted grafts?
  15. Hello, I was pretty bald in the age of 25, already NW5a with high sides and crown and decided to get a FUT with Hattingen Hair in 2019 with 5200 Grafts, which was sucess, the hairline was ofcourse very conservative and the crown lacks a little of density. I think this was a good strategy, but now as I am on strong Anti Androgens and Estrogen (HRT) there is mostly no chanche to bald any further, so I made the decision to lower the hairline just a half centimer and increase the density in the front + a crown touch up with HLC in December 2021 (5 Months) ago. HLC told me that I still have about 2500 Grafts in the Donor and 1000 - 1500 Beard grafts (which I really need to get rid of). As I am not balding any further and want to growth my hair long (about 30cm+), I am wondering if there is any room of improvement (I am thinking of increase the density in mid scalp and crown) or did I hit a limit, where any further hair transplant might be rather a risk due to shock loss or scarring. I uploaded a video here, of the current status: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x8loIBZqCHIUk_jLd-5EwOrN4X0DC6S1/view?usp=sharing Would love to hear your opinions! 🤩 Before Hattingen: After Hattingen: During HLC: As of today, 5 months post OP:
  16. Well that’s the thing, the micro scar tissue is something I want to avoid at all costs, If I will get done a last transplant this might cause bad growth. thanks!
  17. Thank y’all for your answers. I think I rather don’t use the roller. In the near future. Well, I stopped using Fin/Dut due to sides after my first transplant for 2 years, a little of the native hair in the recipient miniaturised. I am back in the game with some pretty strong anti androgens which don’t give me sides like Fin or Dut. I have a feeling that I recovered 90 percent, but want to push it to the limits.
  18. There is literally no sign, that the common topicals will reduce sides.
  19. I higly agree with that! Your brain fog simply comes from: Progesterone -> X 5ar X -> Dihydroprogesterone -> ... -> Alloprenganonlone Your Brain or GABA is simply not working fine if that neurosteroid is missing. FIN has a high bioavalibilty and low response curve, so you should really space out the intake and maybe lower the amount as suggtested. I would also wait with the new dose until the brain fog has been subsided and you are sharp again.
  20. Never had problems cutting em in 4th with a standard pill cutter
  21. So my clinic (HLC) allowed me to use DermaRoller after 6 months post op. I really want to give it a try, but I am a bit concerned, that a.) I might harm the graft growth rate b.) Could lead to scarring and make problems for an optional next transplant What is your opinion on that? @Melvin- Moderatorheard about Eugenix wanted to you to stop(or not start) DermaRoller, do you have more information ?
  22. Absolute argee! Getting a repair done will likely cost a multiple amount of the money that have been saved. @Cem1992 I am not impressed by Dr.Demisroys work in the last times, more and more concerning results are popping up in german forums. Even, if we has one of my "best bang for the money" favorites in the past, I would double check results.
  23. Hello Carmen, nice to have you here :3 I had a pleasant experience with Hattingen Hair back in 2019 🤭
