  1. Yes I did not have any loss at the crown. Dr.Mwamba analyzed my scalp and came to the conclusion that the only miniaturized areas are the temples. I only have one 1 picture where I drew a hairline suggestion and sent it to some clinics. I will attach it.
  2. Also following your progress. I just realized it’s already been 87 days today, now the fun is about to start 👍
  3. I will grow it out from now . It might be a combination of both
  4. Dr.Mwamba and his team at the clinic are very nice people. I can only attest to other experiences which refer to the team being nice and feeling comfortable. But I have a point of critique. The communication afterwards is not what I wished for. I don’t expect them to run after me but I certainly expect to have my questions answered. Especially when I express that I am concerned about something. Very uninformative WhatsApp service so to speak. The seem very unorganized. But if you are at the clinic everything goes fluently, you will be taken care of there. If my result will be good , I can only recommend going there. If it won’t , obviously I can’t.
  5. I noticed it pretty soon after my surgery. Probably some days after I arrived back home. I actually read that these hyperpigmentations can take 2-3 years to fade fully.
  6. I was even trying not to be outside for a long time , especially in sunlight. It has definitely got to do with the sunlight imo. I feel really really good about the fact that my dots are not really visible since I love to keep my donor very short or even shaven.
  7. I will grow my hair a bit, then I can show you my donor. I have another thread where you can see my donor area, but just shaven. I have to say that when it was grown out a bit it didn’t look overharvested at all. I also can’t see any dots. I had 3k grafts.
  8. It has been 86 days since my surgery in Brussels. 3k grafts were extracted to fill in my corners and lower the hairline considerably. I pushed Dr.Mwamba to do it since I had depression and insecurities because of the disbalance of my facial thirds. My frontal point was 8cm from the glabella. My middle part is 5.8 cm and my bottom third is like 6,2 cm. My big forehead disturbed my facial harmony. Now they are beautifully balanced : 6cm, 5,8cm and 6,2cm. have been doing research for years and I know the risks of lowering the hairline about 2cm. I am on 1mg fin 3 times a week. Ever since I have been taking it my recession has stopped. I already have a plan if I progress further than a NW5. This plan is to homogeneously deplete my donor area , use body/beard hair to fill in my donor etc and since I don’t see any dots in my donor I can even shave it to 0 which I actually like. Around 2.5 months I started noticing more and more baby hairs popping trough. So the trend went upwards from there. In 4 days I will reach the 3month mark. I have been shaving my head but from now on I will grow it out to track my progress. I will start posting my progress at about month 3. I will attach a picture which was 2-3 weeks after my procedure.
  9. Update: I feel like it has not changed. I kind of suspect that it could be permanent/or will stay longer than expected. Maybe I have some ‘pigment disorder’ which makes me discolor when skin gets ‘damaged’. I will give it more time since it doesn’t bother me that much. If it is not getting better I will ask Dr Mwamba if I can treat it with laser down the road. But right now I do not want to intervene with the healing and growth process on my head.
  10. Yes, it is a YouTuber who talks about his prison experiences. However at the time stamps he talks about his hair.
  11. https://youtu.be/Qk84BTRYXbI Hey guys, I just came across this and I have to share this. It is crazy how little people with literally NW6-7 pattern know about hair loss. To be fair the guy was in prison for a long time so he surely had worse worries than the Norwood Reaper but even his current barbers seem to be completely non informed and gave him ‘some stuff’ to help it. He starts mentioning his hair situation at 2:30 minutes into the video. At around 3:30 minutes into the video he show his hair. Just thought it would be pretty interesting to share this. Peace
  12. I like DiCaprios hairline. That frontal peak is also what I strived for 👍
  13. Appreciate the answers guys. I will make a thread as soon as I see some growth. I’m currently 2 months in.
  14. The surgery was on virgin scalp and the photo was taken 1-2 days after surgery. Unfortunately I didn’t take more pictures since I didn’t want to stress myself.
  15. By “not butchered” I didn’t mean that it is acceptable to have poor growth. I meant that you are not in the worst position and it can easily be fixed. Plus I think you can even make it look good until you get it fixed 👍 I will follow your journey , all the best
  16. I agree with everything you have said . The experience at the clinic was good. Everybody seemed nice. But in the end the result matters and also how you are being treated afterwards. I understand how you are feeling. We are kind of in the same boat. But I also have to state that you were not “butchered”. And the excuse to just grow it longer is also not acceptable. But still if it doesn’t improve I would grow it longer on top and use a bit of toppik until you get the temples restored.
  17. Hey, if the temples will not close up then you should DEFINITELY get a free touch up. I also had a procedure with Mwamba about 2 months ago, so I can’t comment on growth so far. I just saw your thread on Reddit and you complained about the doctor and team not responding. I sadly have to say that I have been experiencing a very slow and uninformative service. I have barely asked questions yet. Once I asked if I could use minoxidil on the recipient area. The patient coordinator said he will ask the doctor and he will be back soon. No answer. When I asked again this particular question was not even answered 👍. Also After 1-2 months I received an e-mail where I was told to send photos from different angles and if I had any questions I shall fell free to ask them. I sent pictures and asked 1 question. Still after several weeks no answer. I have to say that this feels very weird and although I am not even in the growth stage yet I am starting to get worried because . This is very poor patient care. I hope they are just very unorganized, but after 3-4 incidents it starts to become UNACCEPTABLE. I paid 15 thousand euros !
  18. Update: Dr Mwamba has told me that it is a bruise and it is normal after surgery. It will disappear over time. I will update every month.
  19. That’s what I thought. I obviously didn’t expect anything like a brown line in my donor area. Hopefully it will go away on its own. Otherwise I will have to to something about it. The thing is right now I have to keep shaving my head because if my native hair grows in it’s just my native recessed hairline 😂. I need something to mask it but yeah
  20. You are right. I should speak to him. I will try to schedule a call to clear up what it really is
