  1. Hey @TrustTheProcess , 7 months have passed since the second surgery I think, could you give an initial update? I know it takes more time for the crown, but at least it would be useful to already have an idea about it. Thanks.
  2. Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know about my current situation, after I have integrated oral minoxidil for three months with the finasteride that I've been taking for years. I have to be honest, it seems that the situation has improved slightly, especially in terms of hair quality and the density also seems better. What do you think?
  3. Who was the surgeon that operated on you?
  4. I want an homogeneous transplant, aware that the situation I started from was not the best, however with over 5700 grafts in the front alone the result had to be decidedly better and even the clinic admits it. I don't expect a great density which, among other things, is not visible from the photos, but even in the hairline and on the sides it is not high... but I accept it...but midscalp is not ! I want to fix the crown as best as possible as soon as possible, I will start with minoxidil in the next few days and I will consult with the chosen clinic to understand when to carry out a second transplant.
  5. Hi, I've been taking 1 mg of Finasteride per day for 4 years now, so I don't think it could have negatively affected the growth process. Soon I will also start taking oral minoxidil 2.5% as recommended by the clinic for at least three months and presumably propose for a new transplant at the beginning of next year. I wouldn't want it to be a constant for the years to come, however, taking minox daily. For the rest, as you said, it is clearly evident that mine is a poor result that I would never have expected from an elite clinic...
  6. No strip, no scares for me . I will continue with the fue.
  7. They said me about 500-800 graft for touch up,at that point there would be less uf left to use for the crown though. They anticipated me that for that area there will never be total density, however a minimum of 2000 uf to be implanted. I remember that at the first consultation in a clinic I had been estimated about 10,000 available grafts including those for the beard. I m really undecided about what to do, for me the crown is not a big problem anyway, obviously it can't stay as it is now but at least have a nuance with the rest.
  8. I'm back on my thread and reply to those who say that you have to keep your hair long to simulate density... maybe it's not my case because that practically empty area is less known to short hair as you can see from the picture And in any case I just heard from the consultant at the clinic who told me that hairs probably didn't grow back there or they were very thin, offering me a touch up. I am convinced that, as shown in the post-op photo, something is missing there, it is not just a matter of density.
  9. Sorry but doesn't understand...do the grafts have to be done in the same direction as the hair? as you can see they are all combed down by me and the length is enough to understand the result of this transplant...
  10. It's evident here that the hair direction is the same... @Melvin- Moderator you also started with a NW VI if I'm not mistaken and seeing the photos on your thread I didn't notice the same holes... @KSA91 I hope, but growing stopped by the 4 month...It seems unlikely to me that anything will change in the space of two months
  11. I don't want to reiterate my thought, there's an empty spot there...either 5762 grafts were not implanted or there was an error in the procedure . there are many videos around, don't let me link them here because it's enough to search a bit, but above all I've personally seen patients who started with the same situation as me and had a much better result.
  12. Here are other pics with natural light. I am convinced that with a longer length the effect is even worse beyond the empty crown.
  13. @GeneralNorwood and @Turkhair I honestly don't know where the beard grafts ended up, but if I remember correctly the surgeon told me that he put them almost everywhere except the hairline, so I think it's a problem of unit distribution, the part you see in the picture is missing @Melvin- Moderator I don't understand why with all the photos I posted you got the one with short and slightly damp hair... look at the last photo I posted and you won't be able to say that everything went smoothly. here it is not a question of expectations, but only of their mistake, also because I was clear enough from the beginning saying that I would not have expected a great density, but a homogeneity over the whole scalp, bearing in mind, however, that at the beginning I had been estimate a maximum of 3000-3500 grafts for the frontal area. in any case, if you want a case similar to mine, but successful, I can send you this from the same clinic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV5f_vTH8d8&ab_channel=HLC and then there are countless others also here on the forum classified as a success... you won't tell me that this is one of them?!?!
  14. Pictures was sent by the clinic. There are native hairs in that area, but few enough to make such a preposterous prediction,. I had been reassured that I would have good density throughout the area so they didn't go too far into the crown. A respectable clinic shouldn't do such a job, there is no excuse.
  15. 10 months passed ...I've resigned myself now... I will hear from the clinic soon and want to understand why I had to spend more than 14k EUR to get to this bad result.
  16. I agree with what the others have told you about hlc, then evaluate the result of my surgery that you find in my signature. Add to all this inefficient postop support, I've been waiting for their reply at least 10 days.
  17. what is the average hair loss per day? it will be my impression but with the summer they are falling much more and above all I seem more thinned out ...
  18. sincere congratulations! but how the hell is there such a big difference between your result and mine after 8 months?
  19. I'm going back to the opening post. I'm in the 7th month and the situation is not as I expected. the hairline is fine but in the midscalp there is a noticeable low density visible even with dry hair. taken by doubts if something in the post-op dressing could have affected I contacted the clinic for further clarification. Bearing in mind that I've been taking finasteride 1mg a day for who knows how many years and after the operation I take 900mcg of biotin and 15mcg of vitamin D3, the clinic initially told me they were acceptable values, but yesterday they said the recommended values are 2000mcg biotin and 30mcg D3 for day. I can safely increase the D3, the problem with biotin is that each tablet contains zinc and with those values I would go beyond the recommended 15 mg per day, in fact I would practically double the dosage (30 mg). I would like to avoid having imbalances on my health, but then I would like to know how much it can really affect the density of the transplanted hair.
  20. I'm not 100% sure they are transplanted, but I had so few natives that it seemed strange to me that they were
