  1. In 2020 I've had a hair transplant performed by dr. Maletic and honestly I regret it. I had to go to dr. Mwamba to repair my overharvested donor. I am not sure if I am allowed to post pictures here but I PM them to you if you want to. I've heard she hired another doctor who leads her own surgeries so I wouldn't know about the current situation.
  2. After each HT and I've had 3 (2 crown HTs), I slept normally on my back, without elevation, with my lower part of the back of the head on a rolled towel. Never had any swelling at all.
  3. Definitely overharvested. How many grafts were extracted?
  4. How many grafts were extracted from that area and which doctor has performed the surgery? Can't say that it looks good but it could be indeed just a case of donor shock loss. The extraction pattern isn't the best neither. Any post op photos you are willing to share?
  5. Hi, I'm 2 weeks post FUE surgery. Grafts were places in the area where the headphones headband would touch the scalp, the top middle part basically. The headphones weight 250 grams. Am I now safe to wear the headphones or should I wait a little bit more? Opinions?
  6. I'm in the same boat and my doctor says it may take 6 to 12 months for the donor area to fully recover. On the other hand, I read some scientific studies which claim that it takes 3 to 4 months for the donor to fully recover from shock loss. How long has it been since you had your surgery and how many grafts has been harvested? Can you post some pictures?
  7. Yes, your donor area does look thinner. It's either shock loss or over harvesting. I am currently also experiencing a similar situation and I hope it is just shock loss and my donor hair will improve in a couple of months. Your situation is less worse than mine though. There is not much we can do but wait.
