Ok everyone, would love everyone’s advice on this. Dr(who I really like and is very attentive post op) said after 10 days I can start working out again. Some advice on here is 2 weeks. I am currently at 20 days post op and figured I’d wait until the 21 day mark mainly because I want to be extremely cautious. Lol i only ride the cycle bike for exercise but I get into it, sweat like crazy. Is 21 days post op enough?? I had an FUE

Hello all! quick question, is there anything I should be putting in the donor area to help it heal quicker? I’m almost 3 weeks out from the surgery and my dr(who I am very happy with) didn’t say I needed anything. Just wondering if any of you found any ointment or topical that sped up the healing process. TIA

Oh these are great answers and appreciate your feedback. Especially coming from someone who had the same dr I do! This really helps, thank you so much! I slept in a chair for 10 days and went to my adjustable tempur-pedic on day 11 and propped it up and then kept my neck pillow there bc I was still worried. 🤣🤣 I’m lucky I guess, not much itching. When I feel it I just hit it with that saline spray the dr gave me. I’m going to switch to normal shampoo this week and lightly touch my head. Tomorrow(Tuesday) is 14 days so I figured it’s time. Hey everyone, recently had 2200 FUE, I know I’ll need more next year. Probably another 1000 or so. Obviously I have to wait until at least my 6 month post-op checkup after discussing with my dr and he seems confident I’ll have enough donor hair. But, just in case I don’t I have a very thick beard that comes in and a friend of mine that’s where they got some of his when he went to turkey. now my question is, does anyone know of any doctors in NYC that do beard to scalp transplants? My current dr does not do them. TIA friends

NYC, yeah I always hope that’ll it’ll grow faster, lol. But, I know I have to wait for about a year. Looks like your growth is pretty good, also great to hear that feel some growing underneath the longer hair. I’m hoping to have enough donor hair left to work on the middle to crown area next year. The recovery wasn’t that bad, although I did sleep in a chair for two weeks. Lol Do you mind if I ask you a few questions? 1: When did you notice your newly transplanted hair falling out for the initial fallout? 2: How long after the procedure until you went back to sleeping normally in a bed(not being propped up)? I’m two weeks in but I get worried that’ll I’ll rub my head against the pillow at night and lose some. 3: Did you worry about any graphs dislodging after the two week timeframe?

I am almost 2 weeks post op from 2200 with Dr. Wolfled. I am so happy with him, he and his staff were so nice and amazing. I CANNOT wait for my hair to start growing! Lol
